The tunica media, which is proportionally thicker in arteries, is composed of smooth muscle, collagen, and some elastic. The tunica externa (adventitia) is the outermost wall layer, and is composed of loose connective tissue integrated with vasa vasorum, which supplies blood to the arteries/veins themselves.
