Floor step transition ideas

These awkward steps could have been a complete eyesore, but thanks to a clever bit of planning they have become a beautiful feature. We clad the steps in engineered oak boards and then fitted the aged parquet on top, to match the rest of the flooring.

If we have to step up or down to the dandelion tile from the oak floors, this might be a nice transition look.
