Bryce Kozla Blog: Prizeless Prize Wheel: My New Favorite Outreach Tool Sweater And Dress, Prize Wheel, Origami Yoda, Spin The Wheel, Black Tablecloth, Book Program, Health Fair, Youth Services, Reluctant Readers

A blonde woman in a blue sweater and dress standing behind a table with a black tablecloth on it. On top of the table are various pamphlets and other small giveaways. I haven’t done this in the library in a couple of years, and decided a whole new crop of kids would enjoy decoding these famous children’s book titles spelled out using emojis. My passive library programming usually just appears one day and patrons discover it. I don’t make a big announcement. They see the sign and either figure out they’re supposed to write down their guess and drop it in the box, or they ask about it and I tell them what to do. No one has ever asked if there’s a prize… but, as for prizes, I usually have books, bookmarks or both to give out as treats to one lucky winner. There are posters or cards in the set and more than enough for the whole year. #emoji #library #librariesofinstagram #librarians #librariansofinstagram # Library Passive Programs, Library Contests By Month, Passive Programming Library, Public Library Programs For Adults, Library Section Signs, Emoji Stories, Passive Programs, Story Titles, Library Programs
