Real weddings

Lauren is originally from San Francisco and Sam, from the suburbs of Detroit. We met in 2011 and have been inseparable ever since! We got married on our 9th anniversary of the weekend we first got together and Meg Smith captured our day.

Ida and Marc did things a little differently. "We wanted our wedding to represent us, by having a relaxed, fun and colourful aesthetic and atmosphere. We also just wanted the wedding to be unique. Remember, it is your day! It can be hard to guide yourself through everyone's opinions, but in the end it is your day and it is most important that you are satisfied and happy!"

Fienne and Navarre were married at a family friend's property near Byron Bay and kept many elements of their relaxed wedding DIY.

Sarah and Mike We wanted their wedding to feel like their life together. "Unfussy, but magical, light-hearted, and full of love. We married at our country home in Northumberland County’s rolling hills. Mike and I did a crazy thing and bought this little farmhouse outside the city during the pandemic, having only been dating (for the second time) for a few months. We did not have a huge budget, so that meant keeping our wedding intimate, which worked well during the pandemic!"

Kathryn and Aaron were married in Brooklyn, New York and as a florist Kathryn prioritised great flowers (and an open bar.) "Both of us are quite organized and like to plan, so we decided to plan the whole event ourselves. We also wanted everything (from finding a venue to choosing Aaron’s socks) to be effortless and stress-free. It was a pretty big undertaking that required a lot of patience and communication, but for the most part, we were able to achieve that!"

Haley and Tristan had their wedding in Malibu. "We always envisioned having a destination wedding, of sorts. We originally looked at going abroad, but ultimately wanted our family members to attend without the stress of an overseas flight. Our family is from all over the US so we didn’t feel tied to a specific state. We knew we wanted it completely outside and somewhere with an amazing view!"
