There are absolutely gorgeous cards in the CAS gallery today!!! For each challenge, I like to try to come up with something that hasn't been done - but today's gallery was so full of fun and creative ideas, it was impossible! Hi everyone! The last two days the weather here in Washington State has been kind of blustery. Usually, we just get gray skies and a drizzle. Yesterday is was very windy and heavy rain. Ugly! So, with that in mind I thought I'd share this get well card. The rain is a new stamp from Penny Black. The sentiment is from PTI. I had purchased the Simon Says Stamp Cupcake Party stamp set with the thoughts of using it for the 4th of July, but I didn't make any cards for the holiday. Good morning! I was asked to make a couple of simple thank you cards and these were super quick to make. I made the card base 6x6" and cut another panel 5x5" and embossed 3 lines near the bottom of it. I covered the lines with a yellow post it note and using a stamp-a-ma-jig for placement I stamped a row of flowers. The stamps are Elzybells and I coloured the flowers with Koh-i-noor pencils (without blending). I love the simple effect of twine and I tied it twice around the card and finished…
