I made this unique coffee table from a slab of spalted maple that came from my grandfathers land. The beautiful figure in the wood is due to the tree during whole standing, which led to rich spalting. The base is made of black walnut, and easily attaches to the top. The top varies from 36-44" in diameter depending on where you measure it from and it stands 16" high. We could also put longer legs on it for use as a kitchen or other type of table.
