Brief view...old Zbrojovka Brno factory
« on: July 13, 2018, 02:17:00 AM »
Sad to see. Looks like the chimney is being retained in the projected development but it won?t stand out with the Zbrojovka Brno logo the way it used to?

Neat.  Think of the stories that chimney could tell and the things it has seen.

I need to come back for another visit before it changes too terribly much!

BTW...I'm going to make a Vala?sk? Frg?l for the first time tonight to take to a family reunion for the Czech side of the family tomorrow!

Progress changes a lot in our world, not always for the best!
Hope it works for the best.

Recipe is from the Tres Bohemes website:

http://www.tresbohemes.com/2018/05/the-valassky-frgal-a-wallachian-delicacy-that-came-about-by-accident/

Their website formatting prevents a good clean printout--so I have extracted the data and pictures and have the article is a nice PDF format.  PM me with your email if you'd like a copy.

As far as having enough for everybody...they were taken as a dessert for the Czech side of my family's reunion today.
They were well-received, but there was enough left to bring home.  I personally like it because it is light and not too sweet and perfect for a hot summer day in Central Texas!
