absolutly classic Death Metal album! I also love Necrotisism but "Heartwork" has a special spot in my heart,... countless awesome songs like especially This mortal Coil, the titletrack "Hearwork" or No Love lost, Carnal Forge.... Carcass went again more in the melodic with this album, while Necrotisism was yet very melodic,... but they kept aggressive with some blastbeats and a aggressive vibe in the songs... awesome!

Chokehold, a metallic hardcore band from Canada, with Beastie Boys touches. Their 2nd LP Content with Dying is easily their angriest and most passionate. This 1995 LP is impressively simplistic. Keeping a mid-tempo on the LP, they plod and chug along with some headbanging riffs, well shown on the opening track "Underneath". Not the most varied record, it's the same kind of chuggy riffs through the whole LP. Yet this LP remains one of the heaviest in the genre. Essential for any 90s hardcore fan!
