It's Katzelkraft day again :)) 

I don't think I'll ever get tired of playing with these fab stamps...

These funny fellows are from one of the two recently released A6 stamp sets from Katzelkraft. 

A card made pretty quickly. - That's the good thing about silhouette stamps, you don't have to color them. :))

I bordered the bottom of the card with a piece of torn paper and sponged the open area with Mowed Lawn (Distress Oxide). Stamped the animals and then the grass and flowers. Highlighted the blossoms with liquid pearl dots. Colored the wings of the dragonfly with metallic watercolors. 

Finally, I added a cloud-shaped die-cut at the top and stamped the quote with single letter stamps.

Hi everyone!

Another ATC, today for fun. - I think I'm on the way to succumb to these little things more and more..... :)) 

I dug out another bit of gel print and stenciled it with large and small hearts. Then I stamped and heat embossed the cats. Stamped some background text and XO's. Added a little Gesso here and there. Cut out a few more hearts and added them. Stamped the sentiment and backed the ATC with black cardstock. - Hope you like it :)

Crafting a Christmas card every week isn't easy, especially when the holidays have just passed. 

But that's what 52 Christmas Card Throwdown is for! No matter what colors, sketches, themes or techniques, you can always find inspiration there!   So, on to a new one! - This week it's a theme.

Masculine

Do you kow people they buy design paper because they like it sooo much, and then they don't want to use it because it's just too pretty? - I am one of them!  Hahaha

But for some themes, I just can't get past it, no matter how beautiful the paper is! Today's theme is one of them!

I cut a large sheet of designer paper into 6 pieces, which makes just the right size for cards. I adhered two strips of washi tape on a blank card. I cut one of the designer paper panels to the appropriate size and sponged the edges with Black Soot (Distress Oxide). To soften the transition to the black washi tape, I applied a little more color to the right edge of the panel. I then stamped the fir, bunny and sentiment, embossed half of the sentiment, cut it in two and added it. The die for the reindeer is from Dixi Crafts.

I made a very simple card. Just sponged the background with Distress inks, splashed some water on it and immediately soaked it up with a paper towel. Stamped the birds and the sentiment (Katzelkraft) - the silhouette image is a stamp from Stampin'Up that I colored all black. Backed the panel with black cardstock and pasted it to the blank card.

Hello everyone!

Today I want to remind you of the current challenge at Day of the Month Card Club, and since today is Tuesday, Katzelkraft is also in the game!!!

The background of this card is the negative print of a stencil I used for this card. 

Since it was already finished, all I had to do was add the stamps.

 

I tried to color the umbrella, like here, but ended up liking it better without, 

so only the snaill got a little color. Hope you like it too!

Winter Wonderland

Hello everyone!

At 52 Christmas Card Throwdown we always start the month with a sketch. (See below)

Here's my inspiration.

First I sponged the background with Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio (Distress Oxide) and then stenciled dots with the same colors. I stamped the images and splattered white ink on the panel. 

 The animals, the branch and the bird I treated with bleach to make them lighter. 

I tore the panel into three parts and glued them slightly shifted on the card. 

Finally, I embossed the sentiment on a black label and adhered it with adhesive foam pads.

Hope you like my Winter Wonderland...

Katzelkraft - Haunted Night

Hello everyone!

It's Katzelkraft day on my blog and today I'll try to frighten you! 😱

Looks creepy, right?! 🎃😁

First I sponged the moon and masked it. Then I stamped the Castle and M. Pabos - Sherlok Holmes and masked them as well. In the next step I sponged the background with Distress Oxide inks and as soon as I was satisfied with the result I removed the masks from the moon and the castle. - M. Pabos remained masked!

I stamped the silhouettes of the trees, the sentiment and the spider - removed Pabos mask and colored him with alcohol markers. To make him look even scarier, I added two vampire fangs and a few drops of blood to his face. 

I placed a cemetery to his left and a bottle of energy drink and a pumpkin to his right. 😁
