Christmas is getting closer and closer and I would like to briefly remind you 

about our current Dream Factory challenge

 

Candy Cane Lane

Anything Christmassy Goes

I dry-embossed a panel of blue cardstock and glued it onto a blank card. 

I then pasted on the punched-out circle with the cup, which I had colored with alcohol ink markers. 

The silver circle, I die-cut from the lid of a cheese package.

Hi everyone!

Time for a new challenge at the Dream Factory

Our movie for this month is:

COCO

Anything related to the 

Day of the Death and/or Halloween

No skulls, no skeletons, no ghosts, and not even well equipped for Halloween in terms of design paper. 

What do you do in cases like this? Well, you do your best! 

Luckily, I at least had a few pumpkins, a spider, a spider web, and a black cat. That's not too bad for a start... lol

I drew the skull with the candle by hand. It turned out that it's not that difficult to draw a skull :))

I colored in the pumpkin and the skull with the candle using alcohol ink markers. I cut them out and stuck them onto a gel print tag that I found in my stash. I also added half a flower, which I stamped onto designer paper and cut out.

The spider, cat, branch, and spider web were stamped directly onto the tag. 

Finally, I stamped the word “ Beware!” and attached a thin cord to the tag.

Today, something a little less usual from me...

A few days ago, we made a little project in our Stampin'Up group. 

By pure coincidence, 

the colors of this beautiful floral card perfectly match the theme of the Dream Factory...

Time for a new challenge at the Dream Factory

Our movie for this month is:

Spotlight

This month we want to 

Highlight or put something in focus

Wow, it's so hot in here that we could devour several ice creams at once...

First, I stamped the ice cream cones several times on the card. Then I stamped the ice creams in different colors (flavors). Next, I watercolored and splattered the background with Salty Ocean (Distress Oxide). 

I then stamped the sentiment, cut it out, and adhered it. Used foam tape for the words "Super" and "Cool," to make them stand out from the card. 

Finally, I jazzed up the colors of the ice cream with alcohol ink markers and Posca pens.

A Wheely Good Friend...

Hi everyone!

This is to remind you that the current Dream Factory challenge still runs until July 14th.

This month's movie is:

 

DRIVE

Anything that has Wheels Goes. 

There were two of the animals I had used for this card left, so I made an ATC out of them today. 

The background for the ATC is a scrap of a paper I created for this card. 

Apart from that, I only used a scrap of the paper from which I had cut out the animals (the design paper is printed on both sides) and added a few touches of alcohol ink markers to the bikes. 

I stamped the sentiment with alphabet stamps, embossed it and cut it to labels.

The background stamps are from Katzelkraft (Unfortunately no longer available due to store closure).

The year is already half over and I have to start thinking about making Christmas cards because, as always, the few months until the end of the year will go by far too quickly!

So this is my first for the year!

White on white is not easy to photograph. Here is a view from a different angle.

A jumble of silver threads, heat embossing, vellum and a wreath die-cut from glitter paper.
