Vespa - What else!

Hi everyone!
Time for a new challenge at the Dream Factory
Our movie for this month is:

Drive
This month we say:
Anything that has Wheels Goes.
...think outside the box! ;))

I stamped the Vespa once on a blank card and once on patterned paper. Cut out a part of the Vespa from the patterned paper and stuck it onto the Vespa that was stamped on the blank card. I then stamped the girl and colored her in with alcohol ink markers, trying to match the color of her pants on the poster. Cut out the girl and added her next to the Vespa.
For the background of the card, I scribbled with aqua markers on acetate, smudged lightly, sprayed with water and then applied the color onto a few areas. Used a brush and the same markers to add a little more color.
I die cut the letters for VESPA from peach-colored foam and lightly inked them with purple alcohol ink markers. Pasted them to the card and stamped the “What else !”
Finally, I added a narrow strip of washi tape to the bottom of the card.

Hoppy Easter

Hi everyone!

Time for a new challenge at 613 Avenue Create

The theme is Anything Goes w/ optional twist Splash of Color.
Create something full of color

This card was done in no time!
I just made fingerprints and gave them funny bunny faces with a black fine liner.
I stuck a strip of washi tape torn in two underneath and tore off the card. Adhered the card to a blank card and then stamped the Hoppy Easter with alphabet stamps. Spritzed some black ink splatters on the card. Done!

Play along with 613 Avenue Create and let your creativity run wild!

Fox & Friends

Hi everyone!
We're heading into the second half of our current Dream Factory challenge
So let me remind you briefly about our movie:

Fantastic Mr. Fox
It's about
Foxes, rabbits, rats, mice, dogs, badgers, hamsters, moles etc,
Some of them are also suitable for Easter... ;)

I recently was gifted with 3 wonderful Artist Trading Coins from a dear blogger friend. - That inspired me to make some myself.   ...so today I've ticked off another project on my to-do list! :))

To be honest, I had a bit of trouble at first, as they're much smaller than a standard ATC. Not so easy to work on a round shape! But with a bit of patience and perseverance, I managed to make something cute, and I'm rather pleased with this first set of three.

I cut the circles out of backgrounds from the stash and stamped herbs, flowers or texture onto each one.
The background for the fox was a stencilled one (leaves).
I stamped on some foliage and texture, glued the fox on and then added a few washi tape scraps.

The raccoon got a background made with pigment infusions.
I stamped grass and flowers on it, added washi tape at the bottom and stuck the raccoon on top.

Fox and raccoon were stamped on gel print remnants, colored with alcohol ink markers and cut out.
The bunnies were stamped on cardstock and colored paper scraps.

This one was the trickiest!
I stamped the bunny 5 times on different brown-beige colored paper scraps. Colored in some parts, such as ears, snout, paws or tail, with a white Posca pen and brown alcohol ink pens. Stamped flowers and butterflies onto the gel print background and added washi tape. Cut out the bunnies, glued them on and added washi tape again.

At the very end, I backed the ATCs with black cardstock
and added a little sentiment to each one. Et voilà!

Have Fun!

Katzelkraft - Easter Egg Hunt

Hi everyone!
I'm back wit a new Katzelkraft project :))
My first Easter card...

I modified the bunny a little to make it look less cute (because he's a camouflaged egg hunter! ;)) ) and to match the glasses. The headband is actually a scarf that I flipped over and cut off the ends to get the knot. (Note the camouflage here too)!
I also dressed the rabbit in the coat of one of the Pabos, but you can hardly see it because of the big eggs.
I die-cut the eggs from patterned paper and colored them in some places with alcohol ink markers. Stamped the Easter sentiment on camouflage patterned paper and cut it out. Traced the letters with black fineliner and added some accents with a white Posca pen.
Before glueing on all the cut out pieces, I spritzed the card with pink and green ink.
Finally, I stuck a strip of washi tape to the bottom edge and brushed the edges of the card with dark green ink.

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft creation! :)

Katzelkraft - Coffee makes me ....

Hi everyone!
It's Katzelkraft day. Here's my project for this week.

I stamped the gorilla on a gel print. Cut out his face and chest and pasted him onto a second print on which I had only colored the cut-out areas. I put a crown embellished with rhinestones on his head and a cup of coffee in his hand. I stamped the quote with alphabet stamps, cut the words into labels and then pasted everything onto an ATC-sized piece of scrap paper, which I'd previously backed with black card stock.

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft creation! :)
