Lion King!

Hi Everyone, I am slowly getting back into the run of things. Thank you for your many messages of support, I can't tell you how I have appreciated them.

Anyhow, I have a card today that I made during my down time, for our Great Great Nephew, who was one in August. He is a little Leo, so I decided to use a Disney Lion. I downloaded him amongst others, many years ago as freebie, from the Disney website.

I couldn't think of anything to do at the time, so decided to case one of my own cards  here

I used the Silhouette to print and cut my images and shapes, including his name, at the time I needed quick and easy. I printed one layer of his name and added 3 white layers to offset as a shadow effect. The lion is 3 layers also, laid onto an oval shape, cut with the Cameo. The stars are 2 layers, the 1 is 3D'd. As is the star it's attached to. I embossed the background for a little texture. Everything placed onto gold mirror card. The only colouring on this are the edges of the stars. The sentiment was printed also and added to the bottom. Very simple, but as much as I could manage.

I'm seeing Stars

Hi Everyone, my project today is for

I had a few ideas, but none made the finish! Then I thought of a cut file I had and went with that, SO much easier on the Cameo, LOL. I changed it to the front only, rather than the whole card. I also used a cut file for the box, that wasn't so easy, I cut the wrong size for the box, or the sides, depending on which size you'd like! ah! well I did it in the end, with just a bit of card wasted.

Card is by Shirley's Cards HERE
(I also made it here they look so different I think.)
The star box is by Wendy Bird Designs, but I checked for a link and
it seems it's no longer available. I have seen plenty of templates on the web though.
Both were cut from 250gr Craft Sensations Design pad.
The plain blue with a hint of gold, is 250g by Jellybean crafts.

all stars were outlined or inlined (if that's a word LOL) with
Sailor rolling ball glue pen and
Sparkling snow glitter by Sprinkle and Sparkle

bakers twine from stash.
