REVIEWS:
Liverpool Sound and Vision Rating * * * */5
"The tracks that make up Argento, Brindisi, Magia, Mistero, Omicidio, and Cadaveri are covered in magic, an enchantress’s dream of mysticism and fierce charm"
Music in Belgium 4,4/5
Time for Metal 9,2/10
Verdammnis
"After all, there are corpses, there is murder, there are mysteries. The titles say it all. A nocturnal whodunit atmosphere with hints of the occult: you lose yourself in these long, enigmatic tracks just as you find yourself wandering the winding streets of an ancient European city plunged in the fog, guided by the jolts of Omicidio's double bass. There's no doubt that a faceless menace lurks in the shadows. What could be more giallo?"
The Razors Edge
"The whole album feels intimate, as if you are the only person in the audience watching, and as a tribute to Dario Argento, the Italian king of horror, the haunting melodies give a chilling ambience to the soundtrack that’s being played. “Magia” sees more of the same, yet more dramatic with the guitars and keyboards adding a more sinister overtone to the dynamism of the song"

can't believe this came out on metal blade records in 2025. filling the void of the past losses in metal this year not with mindless copying or regurgitation, but giving us something alchemically new & compelling. crazy record, prog in the best way. they can be one of the biggest bands in the world in the best way, on their own terms aristilde paz justine kirby
This is some sensational avant-garde black metal. 'Sola' and 'in silenzio' have addictive melodies, with electronic music adding a dimension rarely seen in black metal. But holy shit — the introduction in the 'nel buio' track is incredible! The combination of the catchy, repetitive black metal riff, the dark hypnotic synths, and the deep, guttural death metal vocals creates an atmosphere that is truly remarkable. I can't wait to hear more from Nel Buio. Obsidian One
