🌟 Exciting Follow-up from the Quantum Effects Fair! 🌟 We are proud to announce that our Q.ANTie Victor Brasch has been awarded the Best Conference Lecture Award at the HPC Quantum AI Conference for his outstanding talk on “An LNOI-based Integrated Photonics Platform for Quantum Optics and Photonic Computing.” 👏 Photonics plays a pivotal role in driving forward computing, communication and quantum technologies. Improvements in integrated photonic platforms are essential to scaling up and further advance the fields. However, traditional integrated photonic platforms fall short of critical requirements, including low-loss transmission, efficient electrical control, and high nonlinearities. That’s where our LNOI-based integrated photonics framework Para.Digm comes in. By leveraging the exceptional properties of lithium niobate, our platform enables next-generation photonic integrated circuits (PICs) with superior electro-optic control, low power consumption, and enhanced nonlinear interactions. This opens doors to powerful, chip-scale optical systems for applications such as photonic computing 👉 Native Computing by Q.ANT 👈, quantum sensors and quantum repeaters - and also offers tremendous benefits for classical optical technologies and beyond. 🌐✨ 🏆 Victor was honored alongside other award winners, including Anant Agnihotri from Fraunhofer IAF and Prof. Dr. Gerhard Hellstern from DHBW Stuttgart. Special thanks to Ingolf Wittmann for moderating the session. Congratulations once again to Victor and the entire team for this remarkable achievement! 💫 #NativeComputing #QuantumComputing #Photonics #QuantumOptics #Innovation #IntegratedPhotonics #QuantumTech #TechAwards

Kicking off Quantum Effects yesterday, I had the privilege of participating in an insightful BREAKFAST TALK with industry and political leaders. Our focus? How we can drive sustainable innovation right here in #TheLänd and why Quantum Effects serves as such a powerful platform to spark and scale these transformative ideas. 🌱💡 #Quantum and #AI are the tools of our time, essential for overcoming the challenges ahead. Our original mission was clear: to make the planet greener with these technologies. 🌍 But with the current trajectory of AI and #NextGenerationComputing, we are heading in the opposite direction. If we continue scaling with the technologies we have today, we risk burning through the planet faster than we can innovate. 🔥 We need new approaches - and no, placing data centers in the sea 🌊 or building nuclear plants next to them ⚛️ isn’t my vision of innovation. What we need is a fundamental rethink. And this shift is happening right here at #QuantumEffects, where deep tech innovators, thinkers, and doers meet. We have the chance to shape ecosystems that can solve the AI crisis sustainably. 💡🤝 But it will take more than just one company to make this happen. Here in Baden-Württemberg, we’re working to build a seedbed for a new technological revolution, powered by #PhotonicComputing. It’s about starting small, fostering innovation, and scaling it into something truly transformative. 🚀 To do this, I believe we need three things: 1. Pride: Be proud of The Länd. Don’t hide behind past successes. BW is home to world-class companies that have shaped industries. 🏆 Let’s carry our pioneering spirit into the world of Deep Tech, or we’ll be asking companies like NVIDIA for permission to play in the future. 🔧➡️💻 2. Investment: Capital must flow. 💰 We need greater access to funding if we’re to realize our ambitions. Look at **Aleph Alpha** - a company that could have rivaled OpenAI. They had the talent, but when OpenAI gets $10 billion and Aleph Alpha just $500 million under strict conditions, we lose the competitive edge before we even start. 3. Action: It’s time to act first and apologize later. 💪 When we launched our first prototype of our quantum sensor in the U.S., customers didn’t hesitate - they tested it, learned from it, and developed applications. Meanwhile, in Germany, we spent two years waiting for approval. Those two years gave our U.S. customers a lead that we may never recover. ⚡ We are great at everything tangible - regulation, compliance, safety. But digital works differently. We need to innovate in R&D much earlier, before regulation slows us down. Let’s prove the value to customers, and then talk about compliance. 🔍🔗 This is how we spark innovation that scales from Baden-Wuerttemberg to the world. 🌍
