Yury Bolotkin hat darauf reagiertYury Bolotkin hat darauf reagiertDear colleagues and unity developers, ever since I started to learn how to make video games, I was wondering if I can support myself by making 3D models, so I opened my little unity store for 3D assets. 3D is something I was always passionate about, and even though I didn't have enough time and energy to add everything I wanted, for some reason this project is always dear to my heart. https://lnkd.in/dyMYgi23 Please take a look at my modest models collection and feel free to suggest what in your opinion is currently missing in the stores and what you think would make your life as a developer easier by using unity store assets. I know the times has changed, Ai is on the rise and there are tons or tokens you can burn to get 3D models you want. But the reality is that ai can't replace neither your time spent generating nor the quality, aesthetics and performance. Either way, any suggestions are welcome, and it will definitely make me happy if you purchase something you like. Here is low poly chicken to inspire you ;)

Yury Bolotkin hat darauf reagiertYury Bolotkin hat darauf reagiert𝗟𝗢𝗟. 𝟮.𝟲 ⭐. That was Robot Breaker on Google Play. My own game. Organics disappeared. Now the rating is sitting at 𝟰.𝟯 ⭐ 𝗪𝗼𝗛𝗢𝗢!! but organics are still dead.. WTF?! I need your help 👇 Well, I scaled UA so much in the beginning 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝘆 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀. 🤷♂️ Servers crashed, players lost progress, reviews turned into a competition for the most creative spelling of "idiots". Fair enough, we deserved it. We fixed the servers and then waited for the rating to come back. 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗿: 𝗶𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻'𝘁. Nobody who rage-quit in April comes back to say, "nice servers now, changed my mind." I mean, a few of them did. 𝗕𝗨𝗧 𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗙𝗘𝗪! So we sat at 2.6 for months, and I was pretty pissed. 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲, 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗮 𝗴𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻. Thanks, Elias, ehm ehm.. That's the whole change. No big update, no new mode, no UA trick. I brought Kinoa in as a live ops tool, and it is a great one, but turns out 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁. We finally got to play around with the rating flows and different logic. 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗷𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟮.𝟴 𝘁𝗼 𝟰+ 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸. Now 4.3. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The chart looks like 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀: dark blue before June, light blue after. 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗹𝘆, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻'𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝟭.𝟱 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿. Rating is a funnel, not a product. Same shit as UA. 𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗜 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽. I honestly hoped this would kick organics a bit. Nothing. Zero. 💩. The 2.6 killed organics completely and 3.9 doesn't seem to be waking anything up. 𝗦𝗼 𝗔𝗦𝗢 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲? Does Google need 4+ lifetime before it starts caring, or am I waiting for something that isn't coming? 🤠 https://lnkd.in/dgi-w-S4+Linkedin&utm_id=102

Yury Bolotkin hat darauf reagiertYury Bolotkin hat darauf reagiertWe are very excited to announce our €2.2M preseed! The round was oversubscribed and led by Market One Capital, with participation from IBB Ventures and angels from the mobile industry, including ex-Rovio CTO Petri Hyökyranta, ex-Supercell veteran Janne Peltola, Dilpesh Parmar, Director of New Games Wooga Adnaan Ebrahim, and ex-Birkenstock and Sportradar CFO Erik Massmann. What we're solving: Global mobile ad spend hit $419B in 2025 and is heading past $1T by 2035. In 2026, bots officially overtook human activity on the internet for the first time in history. Yet app developers still have no way to tell which signals come from real users and which come from bots — polluting analytics, distorting decisions based on AI and automation, undermining everything from UA to LiveOps. KAZIMI secures every signal originating from an app, letting app developers verify their first-party customer data, detect all forms of non-human activity, and distinguish real users from fake ones — using privacy-preserving cryptographic proofs, with no PII collected. Thank you to all our angels for your support from the very beginning! Ok, back to work - and see you at Gamescom! #preseed #MOC #IBB #investment #gamescom #bots #AdFraud #MobileMarketing #AdTech #KAZIMI #Cybersecurity #AppSecurity #MobileGames #LiveOps #Monetization #RevenueGrowth

Yury Bolotkin hat darauf reagiertYury Bolotkin hat darauf reagiertAfter almost 5 years of a rollercoaster ride, I decided to leave Applovin. 5 years is 1/6th of my life, so it felt like I was leaving a part of me with the company, which is why I wanted to reflect on my time there. I jumped into the deep end of the world of CPMs and CPIs, ROAS curves and ARPDAUs. I’ll be honest, it wasn’t easy - it felt like learning to read and write again. (𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘚𝘒𝘈𝘕 𝘷𝘴 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘤 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘣𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦) However, thanks to a handful of key people at the company, their patience and teachings, not only did I relearn my ABCs but I gained a whole new fluency in this industry. Shoutout to my mentors Tony Deane, Iris Gomez Sanchis and MK Dilworth who managed me directly and shaped so much of what I know, pushed me to come out of my comfort zone and continuously challenge myself. Daniel Tchernahovsky and Cyril Caël, showed me what it meant to lead a team. Collaboration always at the forefront, giving me the opportunity to work closely with some of the smartest, talented and most dedicated people I’ve met. 5 years later, millions in UA spend managed, hundreds of clients taken care of, thousands of campaigns optimised - spanning gaming, non-gaming, web - and A LOT of abbreviations learned that Hira from 2021 would’ve been clueless about. 1/6th of my life seems like a lot, but I’d do it again in a heartbeat given how much it’s shaped me into who I am today. I’m now ready to bet on myself, so thank you AppLovin and looking forward to the next chapter!

Yury Bolotkin gefällt dasYury Bolotkin gefällt dasWe see top rankings by IAP Revenue everywhere. But what about ad revenue? Here it is! Miniclip topped July's mobile game ad revenue leaderboard at $47.8M, and it got there without a hit. Its biggest earner across Sensor Tower’s 19 covered markets was Arrows Puzzle Escape at $6.6M. But Miniclip’s real strength is depth: 14 separate titles generated over $1M in ad revenue, more than any other publisher on the board! That is the opposite of how most of this leaderboard works. Block Blast! is 96% of Hungry Studio's $21.7M. Solitaire Associations Journey is 93% of Hitapps' total. Candy Crush Saga is 79% of King's. Learnings finished second at $42.74M, up 3.4%, with Vita Mahjong supplying just under half at $20.58M. Tripledot took third at $40.3M and closed its purchase of Supersonic from Unity on August 4. Arrow puzzles still dominate the download charts. Together they generated over 53M downloads! But the leader is undeniable: Easybrain’s Arrow Puzzle: Tap Puzzle Games led the trend with 18.1M installs worldwide, while Arrows GO! and Arrows Puzzle Escape added another 12.8M and 12.4M. Elsewhere, Voodoo held fourth at $26.7M as Paper.io 2 grew 22% to $8.71M, and King's downloads climbed 25% month over month. Yury Bolotkin hat darauf reagiertYury Bolotkin hat darauf reagiertI am very happy to share I have joined Pinterest as Head of Industry / Sr. Industry Manager for Ecommerce & Fashion in DACH. Pinterest has always been one of the few corners of the internet I leave feeling better than when I arrived. It's one of the few platforms built to be useful rather than addictive, which is something I've come to value more the longer I've worked in this industry. Pinterest is also, in my view, one of the most undervalued full-funnel platforms in the market. Users arrive early, when they are still deciding what they want and not only where to buy it, which gives brands the rare chance to shape a decision rather than pay to win it at the last click. Combine that with a positive, brand-safe environment and a performance and measurement stack that stands up to any platform out there, and you get inspiration and measurable outcomes in the same place. Inspiration and performance rarely live in the same place, and it's where I think the biggest upside sits for brands right now. Plenty to build on that front and an incredible team I've already enjoyed getting to know. A big, genuine thank you to Vesselina Markova-Kauffmann and Lucas Brinkmann for the trust and for bringing me on board. Excited for what's ahead. #pinterest #itspossible

The App Store rules just changed. Again. 📱⚖️ Between the Epic ruling and the EU DMA, mobile studios are facing a seismic shift in how they monetize. The "old way" is dissolving, and the need for strategic monetization experts who can navigate these new legal and technical waters is urgent. This is a classic "Critical Hire" scenario. You don't just need someone to manage IAPs; you need a strategist who understands the global landscape of digital entertainment. We connect studios with the veterans who have been through these pivots before. Because we were developers first, we speak the language of monetization as fluently as the language of code. Don't let policy changes bottleneck your revenue. Find the talent that pivots with you. #MobileGaming #AppStore #Monetization #GameStrategy #Recruitment #SurgicalRecruitment #GameRecruiter

2026 isn’t “harder” – It’s a different market And most 2025 playbooks won’t survive it I just finished AppMagic’s Mobile Market Landscape 2026 report and one thing is clear: We’re not in “growth mode” anymore We’re in “attention + retention + content velocity” mode Here are 5 uncomfortable signals I think every mobile team should react to: 1️⃣ Discoverability is collapsing (quietly) In 2025 there were 1.4M+ releases (+25% YoY)… and only ~10% of them capture user attention The rest are invisible by default 2️⃣ Games are fighting for time against apps now — and losing revenue For the first time ever, apps surpassed games in monthly revenue in Sep 2025: $4.8B vs $4.5B Utility + social + content apps are absorbing wallet share 3️⃣ “More LiveOps” is becoming table stakes (aka LiveOps debt) Gaming revenue growth slowed to +0.2% YoY, while LiveOps intensity keeps rising: average events per title went from 73 → 85 per month (+16%), with daily events +35% YoY 4️⃣ Hybridization isn’t a trend — it’s the new retention strategy Hypercasual had a turning point: ~80% revenue growth in 2025, and D365 retention +32% YoY (yes, D365) That’s not “casual luck,” that’s deeper meta + better monetization design 5️⃣ AI moved from “tool” to “infrastructure” Generative AI as a segment exploded (+178% downloads, +273% revenue), and 56% of top 100 grossing games used AI for ad creatives in 2025 If you’re not building content velocity, you’re building slower than your competitors Bonus: growth pockets are shifting geographically too Spain (+46% YoY revenue) and UAE (+42%) stand out — while parts of LATAM show download saturation but monetization still rising If you work in mobile games, this report is a must-read — it’s one of the clearest “where the market is actually moving” snapshots I’ve seen AppMagic, huge thanks for the reliable data and insights I’ll drop the link in the first comment so you can skim the charts and go deeper by genre Question: Which threat feels most real in your projects right now — UA visibility, long-term retention, or content velocity?
