Did you know that washing machines can cause wear and tear on your shoes and also potentially damage your wash drum? This is why I prefer to hand wash my shoes. I also do not like using bleach because a little too much can ruin your shoes. One time I used bleach to clean them and ultimately ended up yellowing them completely.😭

I remove the filter and soak in soapy water while I sprinkle baking soda on the bottom of my dishwasher. While that cycle runs, I wash my filter. Then I will run a separate cycle wirh vinegar. Pour in a mug and place it on the top rack. Then you can wipe down tour dishwasher if needed. This process will break down any remaining food bits, soap scum, food grease and grime.
