Foyer Railing Before and After

Okay....this was on my maybe list of things to get done this year, but here we are in March and it's already done! I still have a lot of ideas for this foyer area - I'm thinking a stair runner, new light fixture, and maybe some picture moulding, but the railing being painted black made a huge difference. If you want to read about how I started painting the trim around the railing you can catch up on there here. But this is what it looked like after I got rid of the honey oak trim. Without wasti
