We made this DIY goat fence almost entirely from reclaimed and recycled materials. We also used hardware brought from our old farm in Seattle and some found around the barn here in Nashville! Everything in this simple homesteading barn improvement project, aside from the 4x4 and two 2x4s used, was found free of charge. These lady cows are not quite ready for snuggles yet, but I’ve been earning their trust bit by bit with handfuls of Chaffhaye every time I walk by.
