Multi Bean (or any beans) and Ham soup
Cook beans for 1 hour with 16 cups water.
Add - 1 can of diced tomatoes
Juice of a lemon
bay leaves and parsley
2 crushed closve of garlic
salt and pepper to taste
Dice - 2 onions, 2 carots and 3 celery (or as many as you like).
Boil ham bone in water for at least 1 hour - remove bone and cut meat to add to above pan, also add most of the water the ham was cooked in.
Simmer all for 1 hour or as long as you like. Very yummy.
