Houston House Decorating Ideas

Looking for unique ideas and suggestions on how to decorate our new home, as well as feedback on ideas I've posted. We are having to do a lot of update painting as well as new window treatments as well. I hope to post the progress also as it comes along. We aren't moving in until early March, so the pictures include furniture which belonged to the previous owners. Pics with an asterisk at the end of the description indicate actual pictures of the house.
