Hi there! We have been working tirelessly on our backyard to create our outdoor oasis. There’s a lot of design planning and diy projects going on for this makeover. 1. Grab an old planter. I found these large fluted planters for an absolute steal at Walmart 🙌🏼
2. Attach flexible molding along the top to make them appear thicker.
3. Cover with waterproofing membrane (this step is optional, but I had some leftover so figured I’d use it!)
4. Apply microcement. I mixed in a little black paint and needed 3 coats to fully cover. I also brushed on a layer of taupe limewash paint for color variation.
5. Sand along the ridges to reveal the layers underneath.
6. Fill with shrubs and enjoy!
