Vegan Sausage Biscuits and Gravy Casserole
45min · 1 serving Ingredients • 14oz vegan ground sausage • 16oz canned vegan friendly biscuit dough (8 biscuits) • 2-3 tbsp flour • 3-4 cups non dairy milk, plus 1/2 cup • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast • 1/2 cup just vegan liquid egg • 1/2 cup vegan cheese shreds • 1/2 tsp garlic powder • 1/2 tsp paprika • Salt and pepper Chopped chives for garnish Directions • Preheat oven to 375 • Heat a little oil in a large skillet over medium heat • Crumble in your sausage • Once browned sprinkle in your flour • Mix Slowly pour in your milk, one cup at a time stirring well as you do • Roughly 3 cups of milk total • Cook until thickened, add in more milk if too thick • Turn off heat • Add in your nutritional yeast and season with salt and pepper • Set aside to cool and thicken •
