Save it! 🔥 By @kianna.hair ❕Root smudge vs. Root tap❕ Here’s a little breakdown of when and why I decide to smudge over tap and vice versa. •Smudge— typically my smudges are 1-2 inches from the root over the highlights or teasy lights. I use this method when their base is darker than a level 7. Most of my blondes are lifted to a clean 10 so using this method on darker bases keeps the depth at the root and creates a much seamless look. •Tap— when I say tap, I mean barely a shadow root at ALL.
