A walk-in coop is a lot easier to clean but, if you have one that isn’t, these materials, tools and tips could absolutely help you as well. The Chicken Run: ✔️ I clean the run with a dog 💩 scoop I found locally. You can also find it online (ask me where!) ✔️ The floor is a crushed granite sand. You’ll want something that is a bit coarse and not super fine. Play sand is not an option as it can harm the chicken’s respiratory system. The Coop: ✔️ I use a kitty litter scoop with a long handle to clean the roost shelf. ✔️ I use coffee ground bedding for the inside of the coop. This bedding is processed to be safe for chicke
