The Frangipani House a dare mix of tradition and contemporary style The two-storey Frangipani house designed for Anil, and his wife Dr. Soumya, with 3 frangipani courtyards, is at Kechery, Thrissur, on a 14 cent site. The planning of the house evolved around three courtyards considering the Frangipani tree as the focal theme. Frangipani leaf and flower patterns were taken onto the interiors as well. The landscape design plays with the boundary between the interior and exterior, blends the green frangipani courtyards into the house, and provides a better living environment.
