Austrian-based Demuja lands on Aus Music with a trio of dynamic and loved-up deep house cuts. Demuja has a background as a breakdancer which means his beats are always perfectly designed to get the 'floor moving. That is never at the expense of heart and soul though, as he has proven across a series of tasteful EPs since debuting back in 2010. They are always cultured fusions of house, techno and disco and have come only on top-quality labels including his own MUJA. Now with more than 40 million streams of his music and a packed DJ diary that takes him all over the world, he strides into 2025 with another standout EP full of lush melodies. Fantastic opener 'Scared' is the sort of warm, punchy deep house that gets hands in the air and hearts swelling. Rich and gooey pads, an aching vocal hook and jacked-up kicks all make for an emotional sound and irresistible groove. The gorgeous 'Tao' has balmy pads circling around the mix and leaving long, wispy neon trails in their wake. They bring a subtly spaced-out feel to the rubbery, bouncy house kicks as well-treated vocal fragments layer in soul to this romantic late-night jam. Last but not least, 'Let It Go' lands on heavy kicks next to hip-swinging claps. It has an intimate atmosphere with a snaking acid synth growing ever louder but never taking over, instead leaving dancers blissed out and locked in to the good-time vibes.
