My 94.5 year old mom, talking, and dementia

The light has gone on for me. I now understand that a lot of time I’m not talking to her but the
disease and now if she says the same thing 3 times in 10 minutes great tell me all about it.

It is what it is and if I can pull it off in a little bit I will be in New Germany State Park in Western Maryland.
I don’t think I can climb and ski the trails like I used to but it will be fun.

This is me.

2. I'm sure your kindness is appreciated and she'd tell you, if she only could. Take good care of yourself, too 🌺

Wonderful spot. Along with the Dolly Sods in West Virginia - magical places.

As I age and become less able to see a positive path for my future, I wish there were ways to nicely bid adieu without the medical-industrial-funerary crap.

you will give to her. It's sacred, special and profoundly sad.

Hope you make it to your destination.
