I'll be kicking myself for not having checked out Feminazgul sooner for a while. This is awesome. Wave after tidal wave of crashing riffs and blast beats. This is sort of like Svalbard if they tried their hand at black metal. porcelainheart-
Blackbraid is a spiritual force in the black metal scene, bringing a unique perspective and culture that was missing until the release of this album. 'Barefoot Ghost Dance on Bloodsoaked Soil' is immensely powerful, showing me that black metal is as strong as ever. 'The River of Time Flows Through Me' is excellent as well, with a crushing melody and unforgettable song title. Hail Sgah'gahsowáh, the new blood of black metal. Obsidian One
*Kentucky* by Panopticon is probably my new favorite pro-labor album of all time. Between the covers of traditional labor songs like "Come All Ye Coal Miners" and "Which Side Are You On?", and the haunting lyrics in songs like "Black Soot and Red Blood", this album has a little bit of everything I enjoy.
