April Fairy

She's not really called April Fairy but she is the image that Mo as chosen for us to use for the Facebook challenge. She is called Lydia and is only two dollars.

These papers are some Penny Black ones not sure if they are still available, just checked its called Summertime and I found it still available on Simon Says Stamp.

While looking for a card from 2012 for a crafter who wanted some help and discovered my love of a lace border and how I made a flower spray on nearly all my pretty cards. So it inspired me to have a  one today. My flowers are MFT Upsy Daisy but I think that's retired now along with La LaLand Filigree corner die. I finish up with using a Poppy Stamp Leaf die but I had trim it so it wouldn't over power my flowers.

Had a really busy weekend with a Scrap Cafe Crop and the lovely Jean one of the card ladies who had been very poorly since Christmas came in to say Hello.

Sunday Hubby to took myself as well as my Sister and friend Nikki to Ally Pally bit of a shock I came home with money, never heard of before. I was very conscious I had a pile of new goodies from the little Bracknell Craft show still on my desk waiting to be used. It was even smaller than last April so sad.

Tolo Fairy

I'm scheduling my post today because I don't know if I will be up too early after the adventure we had planned yesterday. I've been amazed by the poppy pictures of the Tower of London and we are attempting to use the public transport with a wheelchair in tow. It could be interesting.
But back to my card and the lovely Tolo Fairy from Mo Manning she is adorable but I apologise for my card because the Dream Team have done amazing cards with her but Mr Mojo suffered over the weekend. Once again saved my the sweet image.

Autumn

Its time for another Blog Hop with Mo's Dream Team

It's Alice's turn with a theme and she has chosen Fall Images or Colours. It gave me the opportunity to add to my collection the Fall Fairy Jesen and to use up some Autumn papers.
Not please with my camera the colouring of the pumpkin even I was impressed how well I had done but the camera just hasn't picked it up.
The leaves cut out of some the papers are Impression Obession leaf dies and my all time favourite Spellbinder the Floral Oval. I've also used this week Sketch and Stash but replaced the circle with one of the large leaves.

So hopefully you have jumped over here from Julie's Blog and now you have to Hop, Skip and Jump over to Heidy's blog. Don't forget to comment there's a chance for a couple of winners of some vouchers to spend in Mo's shop.

Fairies

Well has we race to the end of March and hopefully to a warmer April its time for another challenge on Everybody Art which is for Fairies and the only problem I had was which Fairy to use. I immediately check out all of Mo Manning's cos I absolutely love her fairies.
So this little sweetheart is called Spring Fairy Aleta and hopefully she will be bringing Spring to us but not before Friday if the weather fairies are to be believed.
The sketch is from Sketchy Challenge and since my fairy is quite large there wasn't much room for embellishments but I did manage to make a cluster on one side.
They are all Memory Box die except the Meadow Rue die from Simon Says Stamps which has also had white flowers pieced on its stems them glamour dusted like Aleta wings.
Do hope you can join us this week and do pop over to check out the team.
I know it sounds like we've all jumped ship because we don't know what Google are doing with the dashboard but I actually like Bloglovin. It imported all my blogs I follow which was scary cos I found out how many I actually followed and once loaded I marked them all read so I knew the next day I would be starting from scratch. I even managed to add a blog by going into the top right hand corner and went into following. You do have to remember to click the pic of the blog before adding.

Fairy Needle

I really struggled to make this card but I absolutely adore Mo's new Baby Fairy called Fairy Needle which I had to get straight away so it isn't her fault but mine.
I think my problem was I had to add one of my cross-stitch bobbins but it is obviously not white but you can't tell with the pic cos for once the camera hasn't pick that up. Also not sure about the decorative pin and went to take it out and it had stuck fast behind the MFT daisies.
I have use the delicate fern from Memory box along with the leaves and you know that border round my circle is my favourite crochet border from MFT.
I need to get my act together on the card making front since I've spent most of the time finishing yet another project this time crocheting granny squares together and brought some wool to make another.

January Dream Team Blog Hop

Once again its time for Mo's Dream Team Blog Hop and Julie has chosen the theme today
 Loads of Embellishment

This is the kind of theme I love although recently I've gone down the less is more but I think my card ticks all the boxes.
The gorgeous image is Teen Fairy Mia perfect for a girly teen. The papers are My Minds Eye the Sweetest thing. It just so happened the Phlox die from Memory box arrived out of the blue (who I am kidding) not sure this was the way to use them but they remind me of big cabbage type flowers and love the leaves that come with it but I've chopped them up to close the gap.
Fancy cuttlebug corner, lace and ribbon, not forgetting some pearls and loads of glitter on her underskirt and wings.

So hopefully you found me from Julie's Blog and you now have to Hop Skip and Jump to

Don't forget to comment on everyone's post cos theres
a couple of random vouchers to spend in Mo's shop to win

Winter Fairy

I love the Winter Fairies by Mo Manning and this one is called Winter Fairy Talva and I love that she makes my card so beautiful.
The papers are Nitwits possibly Mr & Mrs but please don't hold me to that. The punches are of course my favourite Martha Stewart ones with a little do-crafts one for the centres, the holly is Martha Stewart punch too with some tiny pearls for berries.
The wings and snowball I used first with glossy accents and then sprinkle glamour dust over them. Then it was a case of waiting over night to use Flower Soft and Fun Flock for leg warmers, head band and baubles.
I was going to mention the MFT crochet border die round the oval because you're probably fed up with me saying it.

Sugar Bowl Fairy

A card for Sunday is one I made using the Sugar Bowl Sketch and of course the little fairy is from Sugar Nellie. The papers are the ones from Nitwits made for LOTV.
Has you can see I love that MFT Crochet border and can't stop using it. I had problems with the little flowers like I couldn't stop using them.
Well I thoroughly enjoyed myself yesterday I finally met Lesley from Grenouille Greetings and my lovely team mate from Mo's Dream Team Julie Catch me Crafting, all the ladies I met were lovely. I loved talking about making cards even if I did seemed to know what was on the retired list from Stamping Up. But somehow I managed to spend some more money after seeing some samples on Nikki's board. I'm suppose to be on self imposed ban!

Paddling

Now I think this card is using the sketch from Friday sketch and of course the image is one of the amazing fairies from Mo Manning called Baby Fairy Ayana.
The papers are from Memory box along with the corner die which I've cut up to give the idea that ithe branches are hanging over the corner, paper pieces a couple of the buds and added the flowers over the existing flowers.
In the other corner is the Meadow Rue die my favourite die at the moment, exclusively from Simon Says Stamps but I cut down the stems.
Also since the little darling is paddling in water I had to use the wave memory box die too, just some glitter for the wings and the pool, not forgetting the bit of ribbon plus a few pearls.
Just want to thank everyone who has left me comments, especially has I've had issues this week.

Baby Fairy Flower

Isn't she so cute, another fairy image from Mo Manning's Baby Fairy set and love that I can go all pink and girlie after all the red, white and blue card as well as all the those pesky mens cards.
The papers are some left over Prima, I've also used the doily punch for the scallop mat round the image. The flowers are out of my stash and I had to use a bit of my favourite lace.
The pearl and gem embellishment is from my friend who makes wedding jewellery, you can get in touch with her on FB she's Verity May, I do believe she has etsy or ebay shop.
To finish well she needed some glamour dust on her wings.

Lace and Shapes eac

Its Lace and Shapes time at Everybody Art Challenge and I knew I would have fun making this card. I have mentioned before I love Tilda cos she is so easy to colour but not everyone gets here and I don't buy as many now. In fact out of the latest set I've only brought this little darling and luckily I got the ballerina from the collection before at the same time.
The papers are Basic Grey Plumeria and I've used a Memory box die for the corner, Cheery lynn lattice die. Love my Kars butterfly punch and the Martha Stewart daisy border punch. Then I used an awful lot of pears and loads of glamour dust on her wings.
Do pop over and check the gorgeous creations from the DT.

Spring Fairy Aleta

I have quite a few of Mo's images already coloured just need more time to make them into cards so like this Spring Fairy Aleta she has been waiting for ages for her turn.
I decided to use the Sketch and Stash sketch although she is quite a large image but I think it works. The papers are Minuet I think from Memory Box its not advisable to take them out of the bag cos they're loose inside and I seem to have lost the front cover.
I've used a mixture of flowersoft and fun flock for the dandelion clocks and glamour dust for her wings. I have sakura pen that looks like silver glitter for the all the stems of the clocks.
I'm off early to MJ All day Crop tomorrow so need to sort out my bags and schedule PB Saturday Challenge post.

Baby EAC

Did you miss me, got up this morning and no internet, rebooted modem, nothing, so I was ringing Virgin before 7am and they booked for an engineer between 12 and 4pm. Well he's just been and new modem installed. Thank you Mr Virgin.
So at last I can post my Baby card for Everybody Art Challenge using one of the set of adorable Baby Fairies from Mo Manning.
I've used the First Edition papers Boho Chick and the Martha Stewart Doily punch. The square mat I used the tessatina die from Memory Box.
Now I need to go and catch up.

EAC Sketch

It's sketch time at Everybody Art Challenge and I had the perfect little fairy waiting from Sugar Nellie. I have to confess that there used to be a bunny at the side of her but he's been removed!
I had a bit of a sort out of my smaller pads of paper and rediscovered these DCWV  only problem they not square papers and I have to join pieces together but luckily the stripy paper hides the join.
The scallop oval is in fact the doily punch from Martha Stewart and the flowers and fabric roses have been in my stash for ages. The thread is a freebie from x stitch mag and to finish the Memory box die branch for the flowers.
Do pop over to check out the fab creations made by the team and we would love for you to join us too.
I've been making some Less is More cards, yes I said cards I've stopped after making four and I've still got an idea to make another. Wish I had photo them as I went along, it was dry and sunny spells yesterday ideal for photo cards, today is another matter.

sugar bowl

Don't hold your breath but its blue skies this morning and not a bit of rain, not sure how long that will last. My card this morning is a Sugar Nellie and the sketch is from the Sugar Bowl.
You know there's something I'm not happy about and this time is I forgot to run a paint brush over her face to remove the glitter.
The papers are Doodlbug and my Funky flower punches had a look in for a change and the butterfly punch is from Kars, not forgetting the swirl which is MFT. I also used the Deep Edge punches from Martha Stewart for the trellis and the doily border and tons of glamour dust for her wings.
I'm hoping for a quiet week and long weekend at home which I finish of several layouts that need titles.

Ladybird Fairy

Time for a bit of Cute and since I love Mo's Babies I had to have the new collection set of baby fairies. You get three fairies and some bugs. I've called this little darling Ladybird Fairy, don't you just love that little pot belly.
The sketch is Allsorts as soon as I saw the corner on the sketch I had to fold the paper over. The papers are First Edition Spring Drop and you know that the oval scallop border is from using the Martha Stewart deep edge doily punch. The senitment is Craftwork card but using Stamping Up punches.
The other Babies are all coloured just need the time to turn them into cards but its been a busy week and the weather isn't helping my joints so quite a bit of time out this week.

Baby Fairy

Ok my bow should be higher but I so wanted to use the Cherry Lynne doily die and the Sweet Sketch Wednesday that means it had to be squashed at the bottom. It also hides the fact I've used the ribbon down the middle, edged with white scallop edges and the fact that there are two tessatina panels on either side.
Add the gorgeous Baby Fairy Flora from Mo Manning and you really didn't need anything else, not either a sentiment pretty obvious is a baby card. Oh and her fairy wings have been glamour dusted.
So I had a great day at the crop stuck some paper and photos on bits of card but never actually finished anything.
Then I was dragged almost kicking and screaming well definitely moaning to a football match at Hartley Witney. My BIL cleaning business KCS sponsors a football mainly made up with lifeguards and workers at Farnborough Leisure Centre. They started the season losing impressively in fact the team they played last night they lost 10-0 but somehow for their Sunday league they ended up in the Cup Final!  So it was felt that the KCS family should support the team but I would have much preferred staying warm in my Sisters living room while the boys went and watch football.
The team did really well, especially for their first season and only lost 3-1. Next year I'm going to make sure I bring my duvet to keep me warm.

Mia the Teenage Fairy

I'm going to have a problem which day of the week it is, today's feel like a Sunday but I pretty sure its Monday, let hope I don't forget my DT days!.
I love Mo's fairies and I love that this Fairy called Mia is ideal for teenage girls. Again I've used the Sweet sketch Wednesday but I've been naughty and turned it so I can't enter it but it works a treat for the fairy.
The papers are Echo Park Country Drive which I'm having to stretch out every last bit of it.
The border punch is EK success its one of favourites cos I can cut round it so that I can stick it on a contrasting colour. Finished with one of the retro flower punch.
I've been scrapbooking the last few days I was hoping to make quite a few pages but they seemed to take ages to put together just need to photo them.

Winter fairy

Oh don't you love this beautiful Winter Fairy Talva from Mo and it most be cos I was high with the success of the cards I made yesterday that this card turned out so well too.
First off I used the Sweet Sketch Wednesday and the papers are Magic Happens from Kaiser I think. Then I went a bit mad with the Memory dies Catalina Wreath, Frostyville border and Snowflake corner and they were all glittered with glamour dust. Because I layer my images I was able to place the wreath on my underneath my layers. Pearls were place in flowers and any circle like shapes as well as the corner to follow the sketch.
I used glossy accents on the ice on her wings and then put glitter on it while it was white, liquid pearls for her dress and yet more glamour dust. To finish some lace and a ribbon, wouldn't be surprised if she didn't make one of my favourites at the end of the year.

Here's the sketch I've used.

Fairy for Monday

I think I may have to go back finding challenges since I got carried away with the flowers and butterflies.
Love this fairy from Sylvia Zet, I know she has new stamps but I shall wait for the digi's.
The papers are I think Magic Happens from Kaiser love this papers and using the few pages left, there just enough for one more card.
Don't you love that butterfly, its a new punch from Kars, my small butterfly punch I've had over ten years its OK but it doesn't cut that cleanily so this will be its replacement.
Marianne circle die, I also cut round the die to make the mat underneath and the corner is actually a die from Quickutz but not sure if its still available.
The little circle sentiment is from stampin up but I think that discontinued too.
Hubby should be home early today and we're out shopping but I've managed to convince him that I need to go to The Range where there's craft stuff. I need some embroidery thread so thats a trip to The Art of Craft and you can't not like at everything else too.
