A Bunny for you

I was asked to make a card that had a Bunny on it and the problem was finding one without an Easter Egg but eventually I found two one did have an Easter Bonnet or this Stampavie one well you can see which one won.
Still making cards on the CAS lines simply cos time has been gobbled up with other things. It so much quicker to make a card using your favourite things. Ribbon, Lace and Butterflies, oh and not forgetting my favourite corners.
Since it was a special Birthday I had to make the sentiment and I finally used a number die from Memory box but the today was made with some peel offs well I did say it was quick although trying to get it straight gives me a bit of headache.
I'm pretty sure the sketch is from somewhere since I'm pretty much a straight person and wonky mats are not my normal thing.

Things with Wings

Time for new challenge on Simon Says Stamp Challenge

Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog

 and this week its
Things with Wings
So any card or creation 'just because' to make someone happy.
Not a specific occasion like birthday, anniversary etc ,,,  :-)
The team is also using Studio Calico products but thats not a requirement for the challenge just the DT chance to show what amazing products Simon Says Stamps have in their store.

So for my card I have used Studio Calico Take a Note so thats the my duty done for the challenge now on to the fun stuff.
Now you all now I love Mo Manning and I use her Digi images but it wasn't that long ago I stood on the outside drooling at all the fabulous images but I had at the time a smudging printer but the wonderful thing is several of Stamp companies now do her stamps, like Stamping Bella, Penny Black and Stampavie all who you can buy from Simon Says Stamps.
So I'm using Stampavie Fairy Kiki, she isn't she so cute and I used the MFT Crochert Border and the Triple Scallop die along with a Marvellous Square from Spellbinder.
To decorate I used the Simon Says Stamp Meadow Rue, cut two out one in green and one in white so I could have the delicate white flowers. The brilliant sentiment to finish is again Simon Says Stamps Where the Heart is.

Now you know the drill to win the chance of this fabulous prize you have to enter the challenge with a new card no backlinking and you need to enter your post using the linky thing on the challenge blog. Also you need to link to the challenge in your post or you won't be eligible for the prize.

The papers are Kaiser and Martha Stewart punches for round the oval mat and for the ribbon strip. Little EK success flowers.
Do hope you can join in this week and check out the team for some fabulous samples.
Also I'm re-drawing the candy from a few weeks again you can find the post here.

Welcome Baby

The challenge this week over on Everybody Art Challenge is Baby and this was an ideal opportunity to use this new Stampavie stamp. Takes some thinking with new images where to layer but I had to work it out what is really for 3 images but I think it turned out OK.
The papers are Prima, possibly Madeline but don't hold me to it. I used  two strips of the lattice deep edge punch from Martha Stewart to make my trellis for my roses and butterflies.
The sentiment is Woodware and just a touch of ribbon and lace to finish off.
Do pop over and check the DT and would love for you to join us.

Bunny for Monday

I'm so pleased I was able to make a card for today, it was touch and go but with the help of Rach's sketch for Friday Sketchers and keeping it quite simple, job done.
I use another Stampavie stamp, love this bunny and with a touch of flower soft and fun flock for his bobtail love how he turned out.  Yes I know he's in mice colours but thats why I love them so much.
The papers are Echo Park Little Girl, EKsuccess retro punches and the corners are Quickutz die.
Should be a quiet week this week but I guess I shouldn't of said that!

Spring Fairy

I did manage to make a card for today and using the the challenge on Cute Card Thursday for Spring for my inspiration. Ok this image was coloured and I was pleased to see she's holding a daffoldil so spring it was. I love this adorable fairy from Stampavie bit worried about her knobbly knees.
Disappointed in my layering looking back now I should of layered her underskirt last but it was the first time of using I will know for next time.
The papers are My Minds Eye and the lace which I brought for 35p a metre, much better price than the lace I usually use although not as good as quality but I didn't mind how much I used to pleating round the oval. The flowers are a new punch, which has a couple on and a leaf, quite a lot of wastage to make the flowers I have done.

We had a lovely afternoon tea at Elvetham Hotel in Fleet, we were so lucky with the weather, the sun came out all afternoon. We were also entertained by the Wedding party, checking out some of the outfits.
Then a fabulous day at MJ's crop, didn't get much done but pleased we've want I did. Somehow I've got to make a card today or you won't get to see one tomorrow.

You're the Best

Its going to be a couple of busy days, today I'm out for afternoon tea, it was a Birthday Present from last year. Also it MJ All day Crop tomorrow so thats an early start.
So I manage to make a couple of cards this being one of them. I thought I would keep it simple, well I thought I would till I came to cut out the bits for the bunnies and I had to wait till their flowersoft and fun flock bobtails dried.
Now really they look like a Wedding couple but see the envie in the lady bunny hands thats her Wedding Anniversary card for her Hubby Bunny and thats why I put You're the Best sentiment. This means I can enter in Moving along with the Time  Challenge.
The papers are American Craft, I have so many scraps of different papers I making myself use them up so you will see them again soon. The flowers are EK Success and the tiny dots in the small flowers is using the largest hole in the cropadile bit fiddly but it works. Oh the the cute image is Stampavie, who have a huge release and some fell into my basket along with the Sarah Kays.
Now I have to schedule some posts, fingers crossed that Mr Blogger behaves.

Bear Hugs

When I was making this card I felt Mr Mojo was missing but I reckon this would be my version of CAS. The papers are Kaiser and I used a butterfly embossing folder. The sweet bear is Stampavie by their designer Penny Johnson you will find that Simon Says Stamps has over 100 stampavie stamps including the Sarah Kay I used yesterday.
The challenge over on Simon Says Stamps Challenge is for Friends and since we're showcasing Penny Johnson I had to use this bear since the poor thing was uninked and desperate to be used.
We've three brand new members of our DT pop over to the challenge and find out who, we're all over the moon that they could join us.
We had a beautiful day yesterday, although hot and sunny there was a sea breeze to keep the heat pleasant. We went to Highcliffe Castle and had a cream tea for lunch.
It's going to be Hot Hot Hot today so I need to find space in my craft room for a fan!

Friends Forever

The challenge this week is for Friendship on Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge and I think this Mo Manning stamp from Stampavie is perfect for the challenge. The papers are Bella Blvd that I picked up from Ally Pally.
I've used the sketch from Stamp with Fun and used various flowers and punches to finish.
I see the crooked photographer is back!
All of you that have young children or even teens who think one day you won't worrying about your offspring think again. My DD is in her mid twenties and yesterday she left at 8 am on a bus to get a train and tube to Kings Cross to catch a train to Edinburgh then onto Dundee, a total of 8 1/2 hours and I couldn't settle till I got a text to say she had arrived and was with her friend, phew.
Now I rest easy till she does the return journey.

Multi Punching

Simon Says Stamps Challenge says Punches and with all the fab MS punches around this challenge is nice and easy. I've used the stampavie stamps using the fab Mo's images which are or was when I made the card available from Simon Says Stamps. The papers are Bo Bunny, so now what punches did I use, here's the list
MS Heart Border Punch
Lattice Heart Punch
Medium Retro Flower Punch
Stamping up teeny tiny circle punch for centre of the flowers
Leone-em leaf punch
Stamping up 1 3/8 inch circle punch for the sentiment
Woodware 2 inch circle punch also for the sentiment
You don't have to use as many as I did but it was a bit of fun to see how many punches I could use and still have a card I'm please with.
Before I forget don't forget Simon Says Stamps are looking for two new Design Team Members and you have till the 26th January to enter.

I did get in my craft room yesterday and it was quite a struggle to get motivated but I lucky for me a card that I thought wouldn't work as turned out quite well and I'm just waiting for the glossy accents to dry before it can be photo.
It must be Wednesday the weather men are forcasting SNOW

Jack and Ginger

This really was a case of put the embellishment down and step away from the card. I just wasn't happy with the card and I tried to put something where I thought it didn't look right.
The sketch is this weeks Friday Sketchers and the papers are the new pack of Basic Grey and not forgetting Mo's Jack and Ginger, which is in fact a stampavie stamp. Then its a case of various punches, roses and gems.
I think I will put this aside and give it to hubby for our anniversay in March.
So I had a fab day annoying Sis and managed to scrap almost two layouts but they're for DT challenge so you will have to wait till the end of the month to see them.
The Royal Mail was working yesterday, I know a Sunday and two out of my three parcels arrived, fingers crossed the other one comes soon.

Sunday Double

I did chuckle when I read the challenge on Cute Card Thursday, they wanted a card for New including New Stash well I had recently acquired a couple of PB bunny stamps ready for Easter, not sure if we're ready for Easter cards. I wasn't going to miss an opportunity to use this cute bunny. The sketch I used is a Mojo Monday sketch but I'm too late to enter it, the papers are that Citrus pack from DCWV and I couldn't bring myself to add lots of embellies since the papers are quite busy.
Another Stampavie Mo's stamp but did she give trouble, first problem is I made a mess with her hair so I had to cute the image out where I was planning not to. The layering of her skirt wouldn't lay properly, the flowers didn't want to lay right either. The sentiment is PB one and covered the author in hope it would fit in a circle, no that didn't work either, but its so perfect for the image I just had to use it. The only thing that worked well was the sketch which is from Truly Scrumptious designed by Mina. Now I've found out there's a colour option, oh well it would be a shame not to show her.
Well I did manage some scrapping yesterday, I informed Hubby that mid morning MJ often as Danishes for elevenses, I was given a piece of cherry genoa cake left over from Christmas. Lunchtime I mention that MJ would have jacket potatoes with chilli or curry with all the extras, I got a toasted sandwich, later on even the mugs of tea stopped coming. Could someone tell me what's the point of watching ex footballers commentated on a football matches that no-one can see, I really don't see how interesting that can be.

Eskimo Kisses

There's a sketch from Jane on Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge that you can rotate etc. I thought it would be perfect for this sweet couple. Its a stamp from Stampavie but its one of Mo's designs that you can't but love.
Just wished my printer loved the digi's, I've embossed and fix some of the printed images and even then the ink still smudges so I have to settle for stamps.
The papers are Bo Bunny and the sentiment is Stampin Up. Below is the sketch we're using.

Finally DD managed to get to work yesterday she says the worst bit was our estate but the buses did manage for a while but we've had bit more snow and of course all the slush is now frozen solid and even more snow is on its way.
I can't blame Sis for not driving to MJ crop is about an 40 minute drive from her house and I have get to her first.
So I'm have a Scrapbooking day at home how much I will get done with both DD and Hubby under foot we will have to wait and see.

Cute Card For Sunday

When I first saw the sketch on Friday Sketchers, I wasn't sure what I was going to do with the main mat in the middles, finally decided not to do anything but use the Apron punch from Fiskars. I can't believe I had this little chap all coloured and he hadn't been used, its a Tina Wenke stamp from that you can still get at the Secret Crafter. The patterned paper is BG and I embossed the white with the daisy folder for the Cuttlebug. The dandelion puffs I have use some stickles and my red brads are again punched out circles that I've embossed to get the dome shape. I didn't make a long card cos I thought the sketch was ideal for an A5 card and another one done if there is another collection for Marie Curie.
Thank goodness the Secret Project is finished and so is the CJ entry but the X factor and Strictly pulled me away from my Craftroom and the third project didn't get done, Oh well two out of three ain't bad.

A couple of critters.

Animals are the challenge of the week over at Secret Crafter, Wendy sent me these cute critters from out of her shop here and I know I wanted to make a frame round them. Good old nestabilities how would we live without them, they made the frame which I ran through the cuttlebug with the swiss folder and Martha Stewart zig zag punch to make a nice border.
While looking for a suitable sentiment I found this one on Simon Says Stamps simply the best set it was just perfect. Papers are Daisby Bucket and it wouldn't be right if it didn't have a flower somewhere.
The trip to Ally Pally is going ahead there is one disappointment my craft moneypot is a bit short and to help me not to overspend I've written a list mmmmm lets see how long that lasts.

Ice-Cream Sundae

Isn't this yummy, Wendy from Secret Crafter sent me some images to try out must say I love this one and must get hold of him before Wendy sells out. I used Domi fab sketch on Everybody-Art-Challenge and my funky flower punch. I really wanted to add sparkles on the ice-cream but time run out and appartly I should of be packing. I used a sheet of BG from the June Bug range.
Waving to you all hopefully from Sunny Spain lets hope it not too hot.
