I've choosen another sketch challenge this time Sweet Sketch Wednesday to help me with the lack of mojo.
The image is a sweet WOJ girl and the papers are Dreamcatcher from First Edition.
I've used a flower embossing folder but dotted the dots and the corners are Quickutz. The scallop square are nestablilites but I cut the squares out and finally the butterfly is a Kars punch with some pearls to finish.
Had a fabulous time at the crop and almost made two layouts still quite a bit to be done to finish but its card making today.

Envelope Card
So Everybody Art Challenge is for an Envelope card but there was no way I could have an empty envelope.
First off I made the envelope using the tutorial on Heather's Blog and the papers are possibly Cosmo Cricket.
To decorate I used the Magnolia Doo Hickey swirls and EK success funky flower punches.
Didn't realise this first pic was so blurry, sorry but it gets better.
I decorated inside, well just the bit you could see and I had issues with the catch to hold it closed. First off I tried a magnet but it kept pulling the paper off, next I used a velcro button, its a bit better but not pefect but it will do.
I made a gift holder inside, it holds a present for DD for tomorrow.
Here's a closer look, matching flowers and I made the pocket for the gift card. I also used the Martha Stewart round the page punches but this one I can chop it up to make it smaller and the deep edge doily punch for round the oval. Of course the adorable cute image is a Whiff of Joy.
Do pop over to the challenge blog and check out the gorgeous creations made by the team.
I'm having internet issues this morning, I use firefox and its on a go slow, at the moment I'm using Google Chrome but I've no bookmarks and still finding my feet but at least I can post todays blog post.

Weddings and Babies
Well my DS has informed me that this year he's been invited to three weddings and I knew my DD had one to go to although she told me that actually its two, guess who will be making the cards. I've also been informed that I will be a Great Auntie again twice.
So I thought I'll get started on the wedding cards so I got out my favourite wedding stamps from WOJ and decided to use the sketch from Totally Gorjuss. I had chosen the patterned papers but when it came to actually make the card I went all white with a touch of pink. Since I had embossed every mat I couldn't add flowers cos it already looked very busy. I can also enter the Deep Ocean Challenge who is looking for lots of white, reckon this card ticks that box.
Sorry about the crooked cards I've tried everything to photo it square including using a spirit level, I hate using the straightening tool cos it seems to take out some of the sharpness of the image.
I may be back later I've just realised I've made a card using Sketch Sat and that needs to be posted today too but I will have to wait till daylight to photo it.

Bingo
We're playing Bingo this week on Simon Says Stamps Challenge and as soon as I saw Mulitifold I knew I was going to make a Tri shutter card cos I haven't made one for ages. These Whiff of Joy Baking Santa and Quiet Santa were ready and waiting for such a perfect challenge.
I've followed the first line down so I've used gingham ribbon and the Martha Stewart Holly punch, also I've used Echo Park's Holly Jolly.
This post is becoming a bit picture heavy this is a close up of the Santas.
I've also used the Penny Black Joy Hope and Wonder stamp for the sentiment.
Close up of the individual Santas.
Now don't forget we have the amazing prize of
and if you need some inspiration check out the team.

I'm Dreaming of a
White Christmas and a touch of red for Rudolphs nose, if you've participanted on this week Papertake Weekly Challenge you will know what I'm talking about since the challenge is your favourite colour for Christmas.
I love making white cards you just get all the dies and embossing folder and go for it. I realised now that the sketch is similar to the card I made for Friday for The Sketchy challenge although that wasn't my intention.
So I used a stitched diamonds from Craft concept, the stripes are Stamping up and the marianne tree with the snowflurries. Got to use the Catalina again reckon I can use or through the year so it won't be the last time to use it either. Santa is Whiff of Joy and the sentiment is Stamping up finished with a red ribbon. Phew hope I haven't forgotten anything.
Well the secret project is done, the presents are now wrapped and I finished my Cross Stitch project and today I'm off to Scrapbuddies for our last crop of this year.

Christmas Girls
I've an extra card to show today cos I worked out its a New Sketch and Stash challenge on Monday and the last time I posted on Sunday it was too late. So I'm going to sneak this one in today and make another card for tomorrow.
Of course the sketch is this week Sketch and Stash and I've made another Christmas card. I do love these WOJ girls and they are just perfect together, not sure on my Snowflake border but its done now. The papers are Nitwits Still Joyful Too or at least thats the what the folder on my PC says. The holly is the Martha Stewart punch and the poinsettia is a Marianne die.
I've schedule this post so it doesn't clash with my Penny Black Saturday Challenge one while I'm out at Nikki's Stampin Up Workshop in Farnborough Hants.

EAC sketch
We've got a fabulous sketch from Tina this week at Everybody Art Challenge and I needed a baby boy card. So out comes my favourite Whiff of Joy stamp, I love having the excuse to use it. The papers are Lullaby from Kaiser and I've included one of the sentiment squares too.
I wanted to use flowers but I thought it looked it would look a bit too busy so I just used the Magnolia doo hickey swirl and the cuttlebug heart embossing folder for dimension.
I think I shall be using this sketch again.
Do pop over to Everybody Art Challenge and check out the team and we would love for you to join us.

Sketch Saturday Wedding
It still a bit of a struggle to make cards but I decided what better way to get back into the swing of things is to get out some of my fave stamps. These Whiff of Joy Bride and Groom have to be my all time wedding card favourite.
The papers are a Wild Rose pack I picked up while shopping at the Glitter Pot ages ago and of course I used a Sketch which this time is from this weeks Sketch Saturday although I have turned it. I used the EK succes scroll and dot border punch but its completely hidden with the flowers and word strip.
I did have an issue the sentiment was to go alongside the groom like in the sketch but I hadn't left enough room.
I reckon I can enter this into the Free and Easy challenge on Allsorts although the poor groom won't be thinking life will be as free and easy once his married!

Totally
It took me a moment to work out which challenge I made this card for last week the clue was in the title Totally Papercrafts, they have bingo this week so I was able to use punches/die cuts, flowers and gems.
Image is Whiff of Joy and the papers are Kaiser, I 've used punches for the flowers and butterflies and not forgetting the border down the side. The gem are on the butterflies and you know I can't make a card without a bit of ribbon.
So the trip to Spain to get our luggage was successful and now life are can return to normal but I forgotten about the dirty clothes we left and our British summer isn't going to help me with that if the BBC Weather is to believed.
I'm shattered not sure about a card for tomorrow but we will see still have to unpack from the weekend.

EAC Anything Goes
I'm in trouble here this is my card for EveryBody Art Challenge which is for Anything Goes but I made it before I went away and for the life of me I can't remember what papers I used. I know the image is WOJ may favourite stamp for a baby card that I happened to lose and had to order another one cos I couldn't bear the idea of not having one.
The border is and EK success one, I cut 1 1/2 strip of card and starting a place you can remember you punch one side, then turn the strip over and start at the place you remember punch down the side. This allows enough room for a bit of ribbon, no ribbon its just an inch.
The sentiment is WOJ and stampin up punches and finished with flowers, ribbon and pearls.
Now don't forget to check out the team for some inspiration.
Off to sunny Bournemouth, MIL has come down with a coach trip for her hols and because its close to us we pop down to visit. Unfortunately she arrived last night and brought the rain with her, hope its a better day today.

Pretty in Yellow and Green
The last stamps I brought from WOJ was some of the Elizabeth Bell girls, didn't buy all of them just the ones which I knew would work layered and it included this cutie. I've used the sketch from WOJ Challenge and the First Edition papers the spring pack.
The only think I don't like about this stamps is shes trying to catch some things that look like bugs so I soon cut them out and punched out some butterflies.
Well I tried to convince my Hubby that a little trip in Sussex would be nice possibly Burgess Hill (The Glitter Pot is open) but he reeled off a whole list of jobs he wanted to do. So I've had to settle for Hobbycraft where I want to pick up some more Polychromo pencils and some DMC cotton.

cherry blossom
This started as an experiment, I wanted to see what a panel would look using my Cherry Blossom border punch from Martha Stewart. I didn't like the stars being gaps so using the cropadile I use the waste to stick behind each flower, now I like it.
I also used some deckle scissors to chop of the tips of the retro flower so they look similar to cherry blossom. The sketch is from Sketch Saturday but used a frame for one of the mats cos I couldn't find another piece of Basic Grey that pleased me.

ALSO we have a $10 Voucher to spend in the Simon Says Stamp Store to give away at every blog along the way !!
I was having a sort out of my stamps again and I found this pair and I just have to make a frame card with them. They are both individual stamps from WOJ but you will find them both available from Simon Says Stamps.
The clouds are another stamp available at Simon Says Stamps, its made by Hero Arts. I made the sun using the MFT banner die by cutting off the rectangle bit at the top and the middle is just a circle punch.
One tip though if you use sandpaper for the beach it blunts your scissors so don't use your best ones.
From here you need to hop on over to Melissa
Thanks for joining us for our very special celebration and leave me a comment before you hop along :-

Blue and Pink
So Mr Mojo has left the building so its a good job theres a fab sketch on Friday Sketchers although some of it got lost in the translation from blog to the rough drawing I made, the side strip should be longer.
I've used the last WOJ girls I brought, they're so easy to colour and the papers are My Minds Eye Stella and Rose. Then I just added some funky flowers and a sentiment, not forgetting a bit of ribbon. This is clean and simple for me.
I'm not going to moan about technology, I'm going to try and be cool about it and step away from the hardware when things get tough and make a card instead.

A Spoonful for Friday
A Spoonful of Sugar Challenge this week is a sketch and we all know I love them. This is one of the new WOJ stamps, I didn't get all of them just three of the girls that I knew would mat and layer well. The papers are Bo Bunny and the usual EK sucess funky flower punch.
I've been asked what size these funky flower punches, they make an enormous one that I reckon is more suitable for Scrapbooking. The large one is approx2 inches across the flower and the one I use a lot is the medium one approx 1 1/4 across. I also have a tiddly one from Do-crafts.
This week as been a busy one for me and it will finish with the Scrapbuddies Crop on Sunday.

Fly away Butterflies
I may not of brought the new LOTV but I did buy a couple of the WOJ girls and they so easy to colour and layer.
Using Friday Sketchers sketch this week, which I think is fab and will have to use again and the papers from Kaiser, I think it all worked out well.
The only thing I didn't like the about this image was some funny bug looking things she was reaching/letting go.
So I cut her out and there were bugs no more and I use the tiny butterfly punch that I've had for ages. The corners are from a cuttlbug die set and the roses are probably from Wild Orchid.
A successful weekend scrapbooking but worked out still got a lot more do for my Vegas book.

Coffee and Cream
Its a Coffee and Cream challenge over on Simon Says Stamps Challenge and the DT is showcasing Whiff of Joy stamps which Simon Says Stamps sells.
I don't mind colour challenges but anyone who knows me I'm a hoarding of paper and I couldn't think of any would meet this challenge that doesn't mean I don't have any and the thought of going through all of them, well last I did that it took all day!!!
So I have a cd from Bearly Mine Designs to get me out of trouble, its all in colour themes, simples.
What a good job for nestabilities and for Simon Says Stamp who sells nearly all of them, along with a huge collection of Martha Stewart punches. I wouldn't be without my deep edge doily punch which I cut lengthways to make the border round the oval.
The flowers are actually Hero Arts which I got from Simon Says Stamps but they also have loads of gorgeous Prima flowers too. I've recently received an order from Simon Says Stamps with some Prima to use on DT cards but they're so gorgeous its going to hard to force myself.
I do hope you can join us and be in with a chance to win this fabulous prize and check out the DT and I do believe we have another new Teamie.
