I'm Sponsoring...The Creative Moments Challenge Blog

http://carabbiemomentsofcraft.blogspot.co.uk/

Oopsies, I thought I had this scheduled to come out yesterday...Apparently not!

It is time to announce my latest sponsorship!  I'm thrilled to once again be sponsoring the fabulous Creative Moments Challenge Blog during 2016.

The current challenge started yesterday and the theme is Anything Goes, with the optional twist of Let it Snow.  The challenge is approximately two weeks long and ends on February 2nd; so, that gives you lots of time to participate.  I had lots of snowy goodies that the team could choose from and I can't wait to see what they came up with!

To keep with the snowy theme I have decided that the winner can choose a total of 30 papers: i.e. two sets of twelve + one set of six; or five sets of six; OR a total of 24 papers and two sentiment sets within the Winter or Christmas theme portion of my Design Preview Page.

I hope that you'll consider playing along in their challenge.  To help provide some incentive, I am offering up a brand new word art freebie that I created for the challenge.  Since the theme is Let it Snow, so is the freebie...

Wonderful Wednesdays--Offerings for May & June

If you are new to my blog and want to know how this concept got started, you can find the original post by clicking HERE

Hello peeps.  Man can you believe that it is the last Wednesday in June already?!!  In just a few short days, half a year will be gone.  I swear the older I get, the faster time goes by.  Last year went by quick enough but this year seems to be in super speed mode!!!

Now I apologize that I wasn't able to get out an offering for May but to make up for it, I've added it here today.

If you are new to my blog in the past year, you can find other items for the May and June kits by clicking on the respective links below:

MAY 2013
  • The word May done up in a coloured floral format and one floral paper done up in five different formats:  Click HERE.
  • A floral element and a word art creation offered up in black and then in colour, plus bonus date stamp:  Click HERE.
JUNE 2013
  • The word June offered up alone and with several different graduate type elements (caps, diplomas, grads, etc.)  and a grad cap paper offered up in five different formats.  Click HERE.
  • A paper with the word 'graduate' written across it offered in two different colour options and four different word art creations offered in two different colours, plus bonus date stamp.  Click HERE.

Neither kit had a name so we'll just call the May kit, Spring Blooms, and the June Kit, Graduation Time.

So, first up I made a set of flower buttons...

These buttons are approx. 610 pixels x 663 pixels in png format and published at 300 dpi. I have used a template from Marisa Lerin, Pixel Scrapper.

Next, here are the items I made for the June Kit.  I created the expression 'class of...' for the years 2015-2017 and am offering them up in three different colours...

While they may appear to be different sizes in the preview, it is only for the sake of space.  Each word art creation is the same size, approx. 1950 pixels x 900 pixels in png format and published at 300 dpi. I have used resources from Marisa Lerin, Pixel Scrapper, for the creation of these as well.

Full credit info is in each of the files.  To grab these creations, click the respective download buttons to be taken to a download location.  In the zip folders you will find a copy of the creation, their preview sheet, the credit information and my terms of use which are standard to all my folders.

Finally, you can find your bonus stamps for May and June below.  You can just left click on these ones to bring them up in the lightbox and then right click to save them in their original size which is approx. 3600 x 192 pixels (12 inches x .64 inches).

Oh and I realized I made a boo-boo with April's stamp.  I left it at 31 instead of 30.  Ooops!  I've added the correct version to the April post but am also including it here as well...

Stay tuned for a new Wonderful Wednesday post coming next month!

Wonderful Wednesdays--Offerings for March

If you are new to my blog and want to know how this concept got started, you can find the original post by clicking HERE

Hello peeps.  I almost didn't get this post out in time.  I can't believe we've reached the final Wednesday of the month already.  At least I actually got the offering itself started earlier this week and managed to get the post ready by the wee hours of the morning.

If you are new to my blog in the past year, you can find other items for the March kit by clicking on the respective links below:

2013
  • Pink and blue plaid digital paper:  Click HERE.
  • holy, holy, holy wordart:  Click HERE.
  • Happy Easter buttons + bonus circular stamp:  Click HERE.
The March kit never had a name so since it is focused on Easter I'm just going to call it Easter Blessings.

I actually designed this wordart for a card I'll be showcasing on Good Friday and thought it would be perfect for this month's offering.  I'm giving you a black version and then three in different colours and textures.

These word art creations, part of the Easter Blessings kit (the multi-year kit for the month of March), are in png format and published at 300 ppi.  It is roughly 12 x 2 inches (created big enough for scrapbook pages but easily resizable for smaller creations).  Full credit info is in the file.  To grab these word srt crestions, click the download button to be taken to a download location.  In the zip folder you will find a copy of the paper, its preview sheet, the credit information and my terms of use which are standard to all my folders.

Here is your bonus stamp for March.  You can just left click on this one to bring it up in the lightbox and then right click to save it in its original size which is 3600 x 192 pixels (12 inches x .64 inches).

Stay tuned for a new Wonderful Wednesday post coming next month!  Oh and I hope that you don't find too many typos or grammar problems.  Given that it is after midnight, I'm not sure how good my proofing skills are at the moment.

Until next time,

High Time for a Couple New Follower Freebies!

Okay so, yeah, I'm a little behind in my follower freebies.  Okay, whom I trying to kid, I'm so far behind, it is likely to take me years to catch up but at least I haven't given up on this concept yet.  To be truthful, I haven't given up on any of the special concepts I've created on this blog although you'd think it from the lack of consistency.  However, the Saturday Showcase, Sunday Spotlight, Wonderful Wednesdays, etc., are all still ideas that I am passionate about, they've just had to sit on the back-burner for a while as other passions come to the forefront.  As much as I'd like to be able to do it all, I'm learning all too hard the infallibilities of being me.

However, today I am able to offer up two more Follower Freebies.  As promised in my prior post, I'm offering up the two sentiments that I used on my recent Pattie's Creation project (click HERE if you missed that post).

Follower Freebie #40:    In honour of 'sandybear76' who became a follower on November 7th, 2012.
https://app.box.com/s/92q7ebcs7cxf5dlfr2jc

Follower Freebie #41:    In honour of AmyJRockstar who became a follower on November 8th, 2012.
https://app.box.com/s/c96442wlsi0zo47m7kt5

To grab either sentiment (or both if you want), click on each of the previews above to be taken to the download locations.  In each zip folder you will find a copy of the sentiment, its preview sheet, the credit information and my terms of use which are standard to all my folders.  As usual, each sentiment is in png format and published at 300 dpi.

It is my true hope that each of you is enjoying your summer, or winter for that matter, depending on which side of the world you live on.

I've got quite a number of sentiments that I've developed for the insides of my cards over this past year that I haven't actually made into freebies (bad me--I really feel like I'm neglecting you guys in more ways than one) but it is on my 'to do' list to get them out there.  Well, one of my 'to do' lists anyway, there seem to be rather a lot of them!

Have an absolutely fabulous weekend everyone!  I wish you bright blue skies and gentle breezes wherever you may be!

Until next time,

Freebie Alert: Happy Birthday to My Hubs!

Today is another very special day in the Décosse household and as such deserves a very special shout out.  Today my hubs celebrates his --th birthday.  Don't want to start a war by telling you all how OLD he is.  Hee, hee.

Without this man, working hard in order to put food on the table, pay the mortgage, and keep me in crafting supplies, there would be no way I could do what I do everyday.  Additionally, it is his love and support that allows me to create and also spend so much time with all of you.   I am so very lucky and I know it.  He is such an incredible man and my world would not be the same without him in it.

So, I want to wish my amazing hubby a very happy birthday and in honour of that celebration, I've got presents for all of you.  Everyone should get to celebrate today.

Here is a birthday balloon frame that I made based on a public domain image.  It is 1500 px by 1500 px and published in png format.

Then I'm giving you the same wordart creation that I did on my own birthday a few days ago, only in three more glitter colours; so now, you'll have a set of six.  If you missed those freebies, click HERE.

Finally, I've got a journal card book plate for you...

 It is roughly 4 x 6 inches.

I hope that you can make use out of one or more of these birthday related goodies.  As always you can find the credit information in the credit notes below.

I was hoping to get another post out today but I'm running really late as it is.  I need to get all dolled up for the hubs as we are going out to supper with my parents who are in town for one more night.  I've got a couple more posts coming out tomorrow so I'll see you all again soon.

Until then,

Credit Notes For This Creation:© 2014, Lisa L.
