I haven't heard such a fantastic album for a long time! I love the atmosphere that permeates the entire album - it's breathtaking! Prayerful! Divinely dark! I absolutely love it! Lucyfer Kournikov/a
Everything comes together extremely well in this album. Probably my all time favorite black metal album now. The mix of atmospheric almost shoegaze playing leads extremely well into the intensity black metal normally has. The saxophone they use on almost all the songs really puts it above others in the genre for me. DevilsKnock
After seeing UADA live at the 2024 Baden in Blut metal festival, I needed to complete the full discog and add this to my BC collection. The guitar work in UADA is absolutely fantastic, and the last two albums break a bit the ties to the old wave of Swedish BM, still melodic, but a unique UADA trademark now. sashavonkarl74
Five years after The Dreaming I, this follow-up continues the terrifying and wondrous music of Naas Alcameth's nightmarish shadow realms, creating one of the most innovative and fascinating sounds in extreme metal. 'Ephialtes' is absolutely sensational, opening with incredible power, and building to one of the album's highlights starting at 1:31. 'Incubatio' is equally cataclysmic, with its dark ambient intro, followed by blistering blast beats, until the apocalyptic shriek at 2:51 — unreal! Obsidian One
