Motionspec

AI now writes a large share of the web's UI — and most of the motion it ships is broken by default: no reduced-motion guard, infinite attention loops, off-budget effects, sometimes hallucinated APIs. We call it motion slop.
MotionSpec is the trust layer that catches it. Instead of hoping a prompt produces safe animation, MotionSpec enforces it: a free checker scans any page against WCAG 2.2.2 and 2.3.3, an MCP stops hallucinated motion before it ships, and a vetted catalog of primitives compiles animation that's reduced-motion-safe and on-budget by construction.

MotionSpec ships as three things: an npm package with a catalog of ~40 vetted motion primitives, a keyless MCP server for AI coding tools (Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor), and a free web checker for reduced-motion and WCAG 2.2.2 / 2.3.3.
The site, API and checker run on Cloudflare Workers. Compilation is deterministic and cacheable - the same spec always yields the same output - so results are reproducible and cheap to re-run.
