YouTube Content ID API - Client Libraries

  • The YouTube Content ID API is exclusively for YouTube content partners and is not available to all developers or users, and you can check your eligibility through the Google API Console or the YouTube Help Center.

  • Google API client libraries can simplify the implementation of the YouTube Content ID API and are available for several programming languages, including Java, JavaScript, .NET, Objective-C, PHP, and Python.

  • Each client library has corresponding documentation and samples available, providing examples of usage and implementation to aid developers.

  • In addition to the client libraries listed, there are also early-stage libraries available for Dart, Go, Node.js, and Ruby, each with their respective documentation and samples.

  • For PHP developers, pre-generated API bindings are available as an alternative to the Google API client library.

Note: The YouTube Content ID API is intended for use by YouTube content partners and is not accessible to all developers or to all YouTube users. If you do not see the YouTube Content ID API as one of the services listed in the Google API Console, see the YouTube Help Center to learn more about the YouTube Partner Program.
