    Pretendemos realizar el inventario y la catalogación de los fondos fotográficos de la Institución Ferial de Canarias (INFECAR), mediante el uso de las nuevas tecnologías informáticas, la digitalización de los originales y su descripción detallada en áreas y campos, dentro de bases de datos especializadas. Para posteriormente, con ese nuevo archivo creado, estudiaremos y analizaremos en sus diferentes vertientes, la importancia de la imagen (fotografías, obras de arte, arquitectura...) como elemento vertebrador de la propia historia de la Institución Ferial (imagen corporativa), que tiene su lógica plasmación en la sociedad canaria que la ampara.

    We intend to carry out the inventory and cataloguing of the photographic funds of the Institución Ferial de Canarias (INFECAR), by means of using the new data processing technologies, the digitization of the original works and its detailed description in areas and fields, all within specialized databases. Subsequently, counting with this new archive created, the importance of the image (photographs, works of art, architecture...) as an integral element of the history of the Fair Institution (corporate image), which has its coherent repercussion in the Canary society that protects it, will be studied and analyzed within its different atributes and characteristics.
