  • Resumen
    • The main objective of the research thesis entitled "ICT-mediated RIRE learning strategy to promote reading comprehension in Telesecundaria students" is to explore the influence of this strategy on improving reading comprehension. To achieve this, a cross-sectional experimental quantitative approach is used and students from the Adolfo López Mateos Telesecundaria school were selected as participants. In the study, the learning strategy using ICT was implemented, participants are given access to digital resources and interactive tools designed on the Classroom platform to promote reading comprehension. Throughout the study period, relevant data on the reading performance of the students was collected, the results obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics techniques and inferences.

From this analysis, it was possible to identify that the implementation of the proposal based on the RIRE strategy mediated by ICT had a positive impact on students' reading comprehension. This finding indicates that the use of ICT to support the RIRE learning strategy can be an effective tool to improve reading comprehension in educational settings. Digital resources and interactive activities provided students with additional opportunities for practice and reflection, allowing them to strengthen their comprehension skills. In conclusion, this research thesis demonstrates that the ICT-mediated RIRE learning strategy is a promising option to promote reading comprehension.
