    Este artículo explora la conciencia de la mujer guerrillera en Roza, tumba, quema de la escritora salvadoreña Claudia Hernández. La novela narra la historia de una madre y sus cinco hijas en la guerra y posguerra de El Salvador. El artículo estudia las relaciones entre el discurso indirecto libre y la formación de la conciencia de una excombatiente y madre de familia sobre sí misma y el mundo. En esta obra de Hernández, la ficción posibilita un imaginario histórico de la guerrillera como sujeto, distinto al que presenta el género testimonial.

    This article explores the novel Roza, tumba, quema (2018) by the Salvadoran writer Claudia Hernández. The work tells the story of a mother and her five daughters during El Salvador’s war and post-war period. The article studies the relationships between free indirect discourse and the formation of the conscience of a former combatant and mother of family, how she sees herself and the world. I argue that in this Hernández’s text, fiction enables a historical imaginary of the guerrilla subject, which is different from the one that had been presented to us in the testimonial genre.
