    El presente trabajo buscará analizar la realidad institucional de la cámara regia durante el reinado de Enrique III de Castilla (1390-1406), tomando como base principal la Relación de efectos que Pedro Fernández recibía y entregaba de orden del rey (AGS, PR, legajo 29, documento 28), documento que ofrece un detallado registro sobre el funcionamiento de la cámara real entre el 28 de agosto de 1397 y el 19 de agosto de 1398. El estudio buscará delimitar esta realidad institucional, analizando su funcionamiento burocrático interno y las operaciones realizadas bajo el control del camarero Pedro Fernández en torno a la entrada (cargo) y salida (data) de los bienes de la cámara. El trabajo permite poner de relieve la importancia de esta institución como un órgano burocratizado, en el que pesaría su papel como gestor de la gracia regia y como fondo dinerario extraordinario de la realeza, lejos de sus perfiles estrictamente domésticos.

    The current work will analyse the institutional reality of the royal chamber during the reign of Henry III of Castile (1390-1406), taking as the main starting point the Relación de efectos que Pedro Fernández recibía y entregaba de orden del rey (A record of the belongings received and issued by Pedro Fernández by order of the king) (AGS, PR, file 29, document 28), a document that provides a detailed record of the workings of the royal chamber between 28 August 1397 and 19 August 1398. The study will attempt to delimit this institutional reality by analyzing its internal bureaucratic functioning and the operations carried out under the supervision of the chamberlain (camarero) Pedro Fernández concerning the entry (cargo) and exit (data) of the goods of the chamber. The work highlights the importance of this institution as a bureaucratized body, emphasizing its role as a manager of royal favor and an extraordinary financial resource for the monarchy, in contrast to its strictly domestic functions.
