    Este trabajo consiste en una recopilación de los diversos sistemas utilizados para medir las fuerzas de mordida que hemos hallado tras realizar una revisión bibliográfica del tema. Veremos como realmente la bibliografía en este campo es muy extensa y se han llevado a cabo gran cantidad de estudios con distintas y variadas finalidades y, consecuentemente, obteniéndose diferentes resultados. En último lugar presentamos un diseño de nuestra propia elaboración con el que pretendemos obviar los inconvenientes que, según nuestros criterios, presentan los demás sistemas.

    In the present paper we have compiled different devices and systems developed to measure bite and/or occlusal forces. We realized this summary by having a review of the literature since the 70s up to now. We found a great number of articles about this matter. Many authors have experimented and done studies about bite forces with different designs, distinct purposes and, accordingly, all of them got varied results and conclusions. Finally, we present a device designed on our own. With this variation we tried to overcome the problems and drawbacks that, in our mind, present the other systems.
