  En clave comparativa se abordan los procesos de reforma constitucional en las provincias de Santa Fe (1921) y Córdoba (1923). Se reconstruyen los matices que atravesaron al período de (supuesta) hegemonía liberal en Argentina entre 1880 y 1930, para dar cuenta de continuidades y rupturas en los textos constitucionales, punto de intersección entre lo jurídico y lo político. En este cruce se reconoce la historicidad de la laicidad y sus umbrales a través del análisis de las articulaciones entre Estado, religión y sociedad puestas en juego en las convenciones. Se visibiliza así el carácter endeble y transaccional del liberalismo.

  In a comparative key, the processes of constitutional reform in the provinces of Santa Fe (1921) and Córdoba (1923) are addressed. The nuances that went through the period of (supposed) liberal hegemony in Argentina between 1880 and 1930 are reconstructed to account for continuities and ruptures in the constitutional texts, a point of intersection between the legal and the political. At this intersection, the historicity of secularism and its thresholds are recognized through the analysis of the articulations between State, religion and society put into play in the conventions. The weak and transactional nature of liberalism is thus made visible.
