    En el presente trabajo realizamos un acercamiento al patrimonio textil y bordadode Écija. Concretamente abordamos algunas consideraciones particulares relativas alos artífices y demás cuestiones en torno a varias de las más notables piezas que seconservan en dicha localidad fechables entre los siglos XVI y XVIII. El interés de estoúltimo recae en la puesta en valor de obras, algunas de ellas estudiadas por primeravez, desconocidas e ignoradas no solo por los estudiosos del tema sino también por elpúblico en general. Con todo ello intentamos y pretendemos contribuir en la proteccióny conservación de las mismas.

    In this work, we explore the textile and embroidery heritage of Écija. Specifically, we address specific considerations regarding the artisans and other issues surrounding several of the most notable pieces preserved in the town, dating from the 16th to the 18centuries. The latter`s interest lies in highlighting Works, some of them studied for the first time, unknown and ignored not only by scholars but also by the general public. Through all of this, we strive and aim to contribute to their protection and conservation.
