Las variantes ie ~ ia en vocablos medievales en las Colecciones Diplomáticas de los Monasterios de Carrizo y Sahagún

    En documentos del siglo XIII del Monasterio de Carrizo y del Monasterio de Sahagún observamos la alternancia entre los diptongos ie~ia, procedentes de la diptongación de E y de otras evoluciones, en diferentes tipos de palabras. El siglo seleccionado es determinante para atestiguar este cambio en la lengua del Reino de León, así como los dos puntos analizados: al oeste, Carrizo, alejado del Camino de Santiago; al este, Sahagún, en plena Ruta Jacobea.

    Through legal documents from the Monastery of Carrizo and the Monastery of Sahagún, written in the 13th century, we offer some information about the alternantion of the diphthongs ie~ia, coming from E and others origins, in diferent words. The selected century is crucial to attest this type of change in the language spoken in the Kingdom of Leon, as well as the two places that we have analyzed: in the western part, Carrizo, far from the Pilgrims' Route to Santiago de Compostela; in the eastern part, Sahagún, in the Route.
