    En el presente trabajo se describirá el estereotipo femenino planteado en el cine franquista, analizado a través de las pelí- culas"Cielo Negro", "Tía Tula" y"Calle Mayor". En primer lugar se realizará un breve estudio del contexto histórico del cine español desde el estallido de la guerra civil (1936) hasta la mitad de la dé- cada de los 60. Posteriormente se procederá a definir las categorías que servirán para el análisis principal de dichos filmes.

    Por último se caracterizará el estereotipo femenino que se muestran en los personajes principales, tomando en consideración las categorías antes definidas

    In this paper the female stereotype raised in the Franco film, analyzed through the "Black Sky" "Aunt Tula"and "Main Street" films is described. First a brief study of the historical context of Spanish cinema will take place since the outbreak of the Civil War (1936) to half of the decade of 60. He then proceed to define the categories that will serve for the main analysis of these films.

    Finally the female stereotype shown in the main characters, taking into account the previously defined categories will be characterized.
