A partir de documentos en su mayoría inéditos el artículo trata de reconstruir las operaciones de despliegue militar en torno a la frontera del Bidasoa realizadas durante la llamada "campaña de 1815", cuyo objetivo es destronar, por segunda vez, a Napoleón tras su regreso de la Isla de Elba a comienzos de ese año. Una materia que ha dado lugar a controversias en la Historia militar y diplomática, al negarse sistemáticamente la existencia de un Ejército, el 4ª de Observación y otros bajo mando de generales vascos como el llamado "De la Derecha", desplegado en Cataluña, que, como se demuestra en el presente trabajo, fueron, por el contrario, una realidad histórica evidente

Using documents, many of which were unpublished, the article seeks to reconstruct the military deployment operations along the Bidasoa frontier during the so-called "1815 campaign", which sought to dethrone Napoleon, for the second time, after his return to the Isle of Elba early in that year. This has been a subject of great controversy in diplomatic and military history, as the existence of an army, the 4th Observation units and others under the command of Basque general, such as the so-called "Of the Right", deployed in Catalonia, has been systematically denied. However, this paper will show that they were an obvious historical reality.

Gehienak argitaratu gabeak diren dokumentu edo agirietan oinarrituta, artikulu hau Bidasoako mugaren inguruan "1815eko kanpaina" deiturikoan izandako operazio militarrak berregiten saiatzen da: helburua Napoleon, urte-hasieran Elbako uhartetik itzuli ondoren, bigarren aldiz tronutik kentzea izan zen. Gai honek eztabaidak sortu izan ditu historia militar eta diplomatikoan, sistematikoki ukatu baita armada bat egon zenik, Behaketako 4.a eta beste batzuk jeneral euskaldunen agindupean, adibidez.
