Influencia de la experiencia laboral y del entorno social próximo en las intenciones de emprender de los estudiantes de ciencias de la actividad física y el deporte

    La experiencia laboral y el entorno social próximo son factores que pueden ejercer influencia en las intenciones de emprender de los estudiantes. Como el sector deportivo ha generado menos emprendedores de lo que se pretendía, el objetivo de este estudio ha sido analizar cuál es el papel que ejerce la experiencia laboral y el entorno social próximo de los estudiantes de Ciencias de la Actividad Física y el Deporte en las intenciones de emprender. Se ha analizado una muestra de 240 estudiantes de la Universidad de Valencia, con una edad media de 23.44 (DT= ± 3.09) años. Los resultados del estudio muestran que la mayoría de estudiantes tienen experiencia laboral, que la experiencia laboral antes de finalizar el grado influye en las intenciones de emprender, no importando si ésta es dentro del sector deportivo o no, y que el apoyo del entorno social próximo (familia, amigos y compañeros de clase) está correlacionado con las intenciones de emprender, siendo los compañeros de clase los que presentan una mayor correlación.

    Work experience and the close social environment are factors that can exert an influence on the students’ entrepreneurial intentions. As the sports sector has generated fewer entrepreneurs than was intended, the aim of this study was to analyze the role of work experience and the close social environment in the entrepreneurial intentions of the Physical Activity and Sport Sciences students. For this purpose, a sample of 240 students from the University of Valencia was analyzed, with a mean age of 23.44 (SD = 3.09) years. The results of the study show that the majority of students have work experience, that the work experience before the end of the degree influences the entrepreneurial intentions regardless of if it is within the sports sector or not, and that support from the nearby social environment (family, friends and classmates) is related to the entrepreneurial intentions, with classmates having the highest correlation.
