El ODS16 se ha conformado como un objetivo condición del resto de objetivos. Sin instituciones fiables y transparentes es imposible la realización de los demás objetivos. Además, se crea un entorno en el que las empresas pueden dar lugar a violaciones de derechos humanos, por lo que los Principios Rectores sobre empresas y derechos humanos no se cumplen. En este paper se analizan estas cuestiones en relación al asesinato de Berta Cáceres en Honduras.

The SDG16 has been formed as a goal condition of the other goals. Without reliable and transparent institutions it is impossible to achieve the other goals. In addition, an environment is created in which companies can lead to human rights violations, so that the Guiding Principles on business and human rights are not met. In this paper, these questions are analyzed in relation to the murder of Berta Cáceres in Honduras.
