In the present paper, a brief comparison between the entalladuras de corrosión (water level corrosion grooves) and other resembling speleological features availables from the international bibliography, are given. After a few descriptive words concerning each of the bibliographic types, are discussed finally many morphological aspects upon the genetic processes involved in these horizontal incised shapes found in cave walls.
