Resumen de Hacia una etnotaxonomía vegetal Chorote I: fitonimia, sistema nomenclatural y comparación dialectal

Se registró un total de 474 fitónimos Chorote en ambos dialectos correspondientes a 272 especies vegetales. A partir del análisis de su estructura lingüística y semántica, se identifica el sistema fitonímico de esta etnia. La comparación dialectal arrojó un 77% de concordancia y un 58% de fitónimos cognados.

A total of 474 Chorote’s plant names belonging to 272 plant species were registered in their two dialects. Based on the assesment of their linguistic and semantic structure, the phytonimic system of these people were identified. Dialectal comparisson showed 77% of concordance and 58% of cognated plant names.
