Resumen de Aprendizaje colaborativo a través de redes sociales en contextos universitarios

  El avance de los dispositivos móviles y la conexión ubicua a Internet han hecho que las redes sociales formen parte del día a día de los jóvenes. Partiendo de las potencialidades de la red social Facebook, en este artículo se describe la integración de esta red como herramienta de aprendizaje colaborativo en la asignatura TIC del Grado de Educación Infantil de la Universidad del País Vasco. Los resultados de la evaluación pre y post de los objetivos de la asignatura señalan que los alumnos mejoran las diferentes áreas de su competencia digital. Además, el alumnado valora de forma positiva la incorporación de la red social, subrayando los beneficios que obtienen del intercambio de conocimientos, la interacción y el aprendizaje colaborativo.

  The advance in mobile devices and ubiquitous Internet, have turning social networks into part of the daily lives of young people. Considering the potentialities of Facebook, this article describes the integration of this social network as a tool for collaborative learning. The experience has been carried out in the subject Technologies of Information and Communication, in the Early Childhood Education Degree of Basque Country University. The pre and post evaluation of the subject´s objectives shows that students improve the different areas of their digital competence. In addition, students value positively the incorporation of the social network, highlighting the benefits they get from knowledge sharing, interaction and collaborative learning.
